华韵九芳乐团，由北京中华传统乐会副会长宋飞发起，于一九九六年六月组建，由来自中央民族乐团、中国音乐学院、中国广播民族乐团、武警文工团的九名民乐好手组成，其中多位在国际及全国民乐比赛中获奖，是活跃在民乐舞台上的九朵鲜花。乐团的成立将在北京及更广泛的地区经常性的进行中国传统民族器乐的介绍，定期举行音乐会，意在使华夏九方丰富的民族音乐久芳于中华大地，这也是北京中华传统乐会对推广发扬中国传统音乐的多项工作之一。
Ladies Ensemble of Chinese Music This ensemble was founded by Song Fei, the famous erhu master and vice-chairman of the Chinese Traditional Music Association in 1996. There was 9 members in the team and all members were from professional schools or performing units. Some of them had won prizes in competitions. After the establishment, many functions and concerts had been made in China and overseas. Their a im is to spread over the Chinese traditional music allover and this is also the same aim of the Chinese Traditional Music Association.
