笛子演奏家蒋国基,一九五○年七月五日出生于浙江省杭州市,是一位成长于西湖畔的音乐家,师从著名笛子大师赵松庭。一九七五年,参加浙江省歌舞团任演奏员,后升任队长,国家一级演奏员。一九七六年,全国大赛中以一曲《水乡船歌》崭露头角,自此连获首奖,声誉日隆。蒋氏的演奏,立足南派,博採众长,相容并蓄,既取北派之长,又继承和发展南派笛子精华,形成自己极富江南水乡情调的艺术风格。蒋氏曾成功地创作和改编了大量笛曲,其代表作有《水乡船歌》、《採桑曲》和《吐鲁番的夏天》等。蒋氏一九九三年被香港演艺学院聘请为兼职教授及校外考官,此后每年两次去该学院讲学。一九九六年初,蒋氏与他人合作的巨笛试制成功,填补了民族吹管乐器低音的空白,同年五月被世界吉尼斯总部确认。还发表过理论文章《赵松庭笛曲赏析七篇》和《笛子演奏五讲》等。蒋氏现为中国音乐家协会会员、中国民族管弦乐学会理事、浙江省民族学会副会长。

JIANG Guo-ji

JIANG Guo-ji was born on July 5, 1950 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. He learned the dizi under the famous musician ZHAO Song-ting. In 1975, he was appointed to the Song and Dance Troupe of Zhejiang Province as a performer. Later, he was appointed as a national first class performer and the team leader of the orchestra. In 1976, he made his debut in a national musical contest with the titular piece Floating Melodies of a Water Village, and thereafter, collecting a series of awards in musical competitions at various levels. He has composed many dizi pieces such as Floating Melodies of a Water Village, Picking Mulberry, and The Summer of Tulufan, etc. In 1993, he was invited by APA Hong Kong as concurrent professor and external examiner, where he presents lectures twice each year. In 1996, his artwork of a gigantic dizi, the product of a co-project with other artists, was officially recognized by the World Guinness as a solution to the deficient lack of bass in traditional Chinese musical instruments. Currently he is a member of the Chinese Musicians’ Association, a committee member of the National Traditional Society, deputy director of Zhejiang Provincial Traditional Chinese Music Association.
