In 1956, he was admitted to the affiliated secondary school of Central Conservatory. After his graduation in 1963 till 1969, he taught the erhu<\/em> performing in Inner Mongolia Arts Institute. In 1979, he became a postgraduate in Central Conservatory, studying erhu<\/em> performing, education and theory under LAN Yu-song. In 1981, he got his master degree and stayed in the conservatory as a teacher.
