\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Sizhu\u00a0<\/em>refers to the music of traditional stringed and woodwind instruments. It is prevalent in everywhere of China, but there are different names according to various regions they are brought out. For example, spreading in southern Jiangsu, western Zhejiang and Shanghai area is called\u00a0Jiangnan Sizhu<\/em>. Its performing layout is merged of string and woodwind instruments and formulation from one string plus one woodwind to a more complicated ensemble version. Generally, the musical instruments used include\u00a0pipa<\/em>,\u00a0erhu<\/em>,\u00a0yangqin<\/em>,\u00a0sanxian<\/em>,\u00a0qinqin<\/em>,\u00a0zhonghu<\/em>,\u00a0dizi<\/em>,\u00a0sheng<\/em>,\u00a0xiao<\/em>, drum, woodblock, wooden fish, bell, etc. There are popular small tunes and also suite of several\u00a0qupais<\/em>\u00a0united together. Musicians can play the melody naturally or by adding ornaments to it and sometimes play the simplified version of it. In general, there are eight pieces of renowned\u00a0Jiangnan Sizhu<\/em>\u00a0melody, more pieces are composed to enrich the catalogue recently. The melody of\u00a0Jiangnan Sizhu<\/em>\u00a0is vivid and bright, most of them are adapted from the folk music of soft and gentle style. The traditional pieces are always the variations of\u00a0liu ban\u00a0<\/em>system.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\u2013<\/strong>Guangdong Yinyue<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Guangdong Yinyue <\/em>is also called Cantonese music. It is the Sizhu<\/em> of the delta area of Pearl River and is named as Lingnan Sizhu<\/em>. In the early time, it was called Pu Zi <\/em>which meant instrumental music, it was formed by melodies from the northern district out of the Pearl River and the background music of Cantonese Opera. The instruments include erxian<\/em>, zhutiqin<\/em>, yueqin<\/em>, sanxian<\/em> and qudi<\/em> or suona<\/em> which was called Wujiatou<\/em> and meant five instruments. Since the mid of 1920s, LU Wen-cheng reformed the Jiangnan erhu<\/em> and developed the Guangdong erhu<\/em> which is now called the gaohu<\/em>. It was then formed a new style of music and was called Yueyue<\/em>. Yueyue<\/em> meant Guangdong Yinyue<\/em>, it was so called because the gramophone records of this new music was recorded by the Guangdong musicians in the same style of performance. The instruments of the new style Guangdong Yinyue<\/em> include yuehu<\/em>, yehu<\/em>, yangqin<\/em>, xiao<\/em>, qinqin<\/em>, etc.<\/p>

\u6c11\u9593\u5668\u6a02\u7684\u300c\u7d72\u7af9\u6a02\u300d\u6d41\u884c\u65bc\u6f6e\u5dde\u8a9e\u7cfb\u5730\u5340\u7684\u7a31\u70ba\u300c\u5dba\u6771\u7d72\u7af9\u300d\u6216\u300c\u97d3\u6c5f\u7d72\u7af9\u300d\uff0c\u4f46\u4e00\u822c\u90fd\u4ee5\u300c\u6f6e\u5dde\u97f3\u6a02\u300d\u7a31\u4e4b\uff0c\u5b83\u50b3\u64ad\u65bc\u5ee3\u6771\u6f6e\u5dde\u3001\u6c55\u982d\u5730\u5340\uff0c\u4e26\u50b3\u81f3\u95a9\u5357\u7684\u9f8d\u5ca9\u3001\u9f8d\u6eaa\uff0c\u897f\u53ca\u60e0\u967d\uff0c\u5317\u9054\u4e94\u83ef\u3001\u5927\u57d4\u3001\u8208\u5be7\u3002\u66f2\u8abf\u591a\u6e90\u65bc\u6c11\u6b4c\u3001\u6b4c\u821e\u3001\u5c0f\u8abf\uff0c\u4e26\u5438\u6536\u5f0b\u967d\u8154\u3001\u6606\u66f2\u3001\u6f22\u8abf\u3001\u79e6\u8154\u3001\u9053\u8abf\u548c\u6cd5\u66f2\uff0c\u5927\u7d04\u5df2\u6709\u56db\u767e\u5e74\u7684\u6b77\u53f2\u4e86\u3002\u5b83\u7684\u6f14\u51fa\u5f62\u5f0f\u5206\u5ee3\u5834\u6a02\u548c\u5ba4\u5167\u6a02\u5169\u7a2e\uff0c\u5ee3\u5834\u6a02\u5305\u62ec\u6f6e\u5dde\u5927\u947c\u9f13\u3001\u6f6e\u5dde\u5916\u6c5f\u947c\u9f13\u3001\u6f6e\u5dde\u516b\u97f3\u947c\u9f13\u3001\u6f6e\u5dde\u82b1\u71c8\u947c\u9f13\u548c\u6f6e\u5dde\u5c0f\u947c\u9f13\uff0c\u5ba4\u5167\u6a02\u5305\u62ec\u6f6e\u5dde\u5f26\u8a69\u6a02\u3001\u6f6e\u967d\u7b1b\u5957\u53e4\u6a02\u3001\u6f6e\u5dde\u7d30\u6a02\u548c\u6f6e\u5dde\u5edf\u5802\u97f3\u6a02\u3002\u6f6e\u5dde\u97f3\u6a02\u6700\u5177\u4ee3\u8868\u6027\u7684\u7279\u8272\u6a02\u5668\u6709\u6f6e\u5dde\u4e8c\u5f26\u3001\u6f6e\u5dde\u55e9\u5436\u53ca\u6df1\u6ce2\u3002\u4e8c\u5f26\u7684\u5f13\u5b50\u5f88\u9577\uff0c\u767c\u97f3\u5c16\u4eae\u9ad8\u4ea2\uff0c\u662f\u5f26\u8a69\u6a02\u7684\u4e3b\u594f\u6a02\u5668\u3002\u6f6e\u5dde\u7684\u5927\u55e9\u5436\u7a31\u300c\u5927\u5439\u300d\uff0c\u5c0f\u55e9\u5436\u7a31\u300c\u566f\u4ed4\u300d\uff0c\u97f3\u8272\u67d4\u7f8e\u7d30\u81a9\uff0c\u662f\u947c\u9f13\u6a02\u7684\u4e3b\u594f\u6a02\u5668\u3002\u6df1\u6ce2\u662f\u9ad8\u908a\u947c\uff0c\u97f3\u8272\u7d14\u539a\u6e3e\u5713\uff0c\u6975\u5bcc\u5730\u65b9\u8272\u5f69\uff0c\u5b83\u6709\u56fa\u5b9a\u7684\u97f3\u9ad8\uff0c\u50b3\u7d71\u4e0a\u7528\u4f5c\u6a02\u968a\u8abf\u97f3\u7684\u6a19\u6e96\u3002<\/p>

\u2013<\/strong>Chaozhou Yinyue<\/em><\/strong><\/p>

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em>It was the Sizhu <\/em>in the area of Chaozhou language and was called the Lingdong Sizhu<\/em> or Hanjiang Sizhu<\/em>, but generally called the Chaozhou Yinyue<\/em>. It spread in the area of Chaozhou, Shantou of Guangdong province and passed on to Longyan, Longxi of south Fujian. In the western side, it passed on to Huiyang and Wuhua, Dapu, Xingning in the north. Its melody mostly adapted from folk songs and other traditional operatic melodies and had a history of almost four hundred years. It can perform indoors or at the playground. Its main instruments include Chaozhou erxian<\/em>, Chaozhou suona<\/em> and shenbo<\/em>. The bow of erxian<\/em> is longer than other bowed instruments. It has a loud and high frequency sound and is the chief instrument of the string section. The suona<\/em> is discriminated into the big one and the small one. The big one is called dachui<\/em> and the small one is called aizi<\/em>. The suona<\/em> is the chief melody instrument of the traditional percussion group. The shenbo<\/em> is a big gong rich in local music style. It is always used as the tuning standard of the ensemble.<\/p>

It was the music which the emigrants of the middle and lower part of the Yellow River brought them to Guangdong. Since then it merged with the local music and formed the Guangdong Hanyue. It\u2019s performing layout including three formats. The first is called Hexiansuo<\/em> and Luoguchui<\/em>. Hexiansuo<\/em> is a kind of Sizhu<\/em> which includes instruments of yueqin<\/em>, pipa<\/em>, yehu<\/em>, tihu<\/em>, sanxian<\/em> and dizi<\/em>. It\u2019s performing layout including the sitting format and the marching format.
