管平湖:

  管先生名平,字吉庵、仲康,號平湖,自稱門外漢,江蘇蘇州人。清代名畫家管念慈之子,生於一八九七年二月二日,一九六七年三月二十八日卒於北京。自幼酷愛藝術,彈琴學畫皆得家傳。其古琴藝術得九疑派楊宗稷、武夷派悟澄老人及川派秦鶴鳴等名琴家之真傳,博取三派之長,融會貫通,自成一家。其風格樸素豪放而雄健瀟灑,含蓄蘊藉而情趣深遠。其演奏《流水》一曲,尤特著名,獲「管流水」之美譽,一九七七年八月二十日,美國發射的「航行者」號衛星,將管氏此曲錄入噴金的世界名曲唱片中,使中國古琴首次響徹太空至今。

 

GUAN Ping-hu

        GUAN Ping-hu was born in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. His first name was Ping, alias Ji-an, Zhong-kang and Ping-hu. However, he called himself the layman. He was born on February 2, 1897 and passed away on March 28,1967 in Beijing. He was the son of GUAN Nian-ci, a famous painter in the Qing Dynasty. Influenced by the family, he started to learn music since his childhood. He studied in depth the performing art of qin and was influenced significantly by YANG Zong-ji of the Jiu Yi School, Master Wucheng of the Wu Yi School and QIN He-ming of the Szechuan School. However, he combined the features of different schools and adopted the styles of folk music to create his own qin school of Guan. The style of the Guan school is plain and unconstrained, modest and profound. He got his fame in playing Flowing Water and this qin piece played by him was collected into the Gold CD which was brought to the universe by the U.S. spaceship “Voyager” launched on August 22, 1977. The charm of Chinese qin was displayed in the universe for the first time.

蘇思棣:

  蘇思棣先生,一九四九年出生於廣州,大學時主修中國書畫。早年曾隨黃權先生習簫笛,後隨蔡德允女士習古琴,近年又隨蔡昌壽先生斲琴。現為本港德愔琴社社長。並任香港中文大學與浸會大學音樂系古琴導師。
多年來有關古琴之活動如琴學研究、打譜、斲琴等均有涉獵,亦常參與演奏、講座、示範、教學、錄音等活動。曾參與策劃“清角遺音”與“海天秋月”古琴文化展覽。亦曾在中、港、台、日、比、瑞、奧、荷、德、美等地作古琴演奏。

 

SOU Si-tai was born in 1949 in Guangzhou, Huangdong Province. When he was in university, he studied the Chinese painting. He was fond of Chinese wind instruments and studied under Mr. HUANG Quan. Later on, he learned the qin under TSAR Teh-yun and also learning qin-making under CHOI Cheong-sau. He is now the chairman of the Deyin Qin Society and the qin teacher of the Music Department of the Baptism University.

侯作吾:

  侯作吾先生,名卓,又名遇辰,祖籍四川省營山縣四喜場人,一九一O年出生於家鄉,一九六三年初,在四川音樂學院任教時,因患食道癌,往上海醫治無效逝世。侯先生自幼牲敏好學,尤愛琴藝繪畫,一九三三年畢業於上海藝專,後放洋日本求學,竟逆父意,棄政從藝。回國後,參加上海古琴界雅集,鼓彈自己創編的《高山流水》,名噪浦江。新中國成立後,侯先生先後任職中央音樂學院、上海音樂學院、四川音樂學院,教授古琴,又與楊蔭瀏先生整理出版《古琴曲匯編》,他是我國第一個將古琴減字譜譯成五譜出版的人。

 

HOU Zuo-wu was born in 1910 in his ancestral home Yingshan County, Sichuan Province and he passed away of illness in early 1963 in Shanghai. He was fond of arts, especially in playing the qin and painting. In 1933, he graduated from the Art Academy of Shanghai and went abroad for further study in Japan. After coming back from abroad, he visited the qin players in Shanghai and got fame in playing his arrangement of High Mountains and Flowing Water. After the formation of the new China, he taught the qin in Central Conservatory, Shanghai Conservatory. Sichuan Conservatory. He was the first man to translate the traditional qin scores to the staff and published the Music Scores of Guqin together with YANG Yin-liu.

李禹賢:

  李禹賢先生,號勁草,又號琴童,山東桓台人,一九三六年出生,二O一一年因病逝世於福建。十六歲時受張正吟之啟蒙,後從學操縵於夏一峰,一九五六年在上海音樂學院附中時,受業於劉景韶、張子謙,課餘時又向管平湖、吳景略等大師請益,博採各家之長,而形成自己的風格。其在琴學研究上的著述屢獲殊榮,被評為國家級非物質文化遺產古琴藝術代表性傳承人。他嘗在福建省藝術學校執教,又於一九八六年創辦“勁草琴堂”,培育琴界新秀。一九九九年創立厦門古琴學會,二OO一年又創建福建古琴研究會,並任會長。

 

LI Yu-xian was born in 1936 and passed away of illness in 2011 in Fujian. His name was Jin-cao and other name was Qin-tong. His ancestral home was in Huantai, Shandong Province. When he was sixteen, he learned the qin under ZHANG Zheng-yin and further studied under XIA Yi-feng. In 1956, he was admitted to the Shanghai Conservatory and Studied under LIU Jing-shao and ZHANG Zi-qian. He always visited and studied under GUAN Ping-hu and WU Jing-lue. He has proclaimed as one of the representative successors of qin music of the Intangible Heritage of Humanity by Cultural Department of China. In 1986, he founded the Jin-cao Qin School. In 1999, he established the Qin Society of Xiamen. In 2001, he founded the Fujian Qin Association and was appointed the chairman.

吳振平:

  吳振平先生,字淡山,一九O七年出生於浙江省杭州市,一九七九年二月逝世於上海。吳先生為古琴家、音樂理論家,善金石、承西泠印泥家傳絕方。曾任上海文藝出版社音樂編輯;一九五六年上海音樂學院民樂系成立後,為第一任古琴教師;一九五七至一九六六年間,任上海“今虞琴社”社長之職。吳先生不僅是一位琴藝高超的琴家,更是一位具有深厚傳統文化和精湛琴學理論學養的學者。一九四九年後,成為中國第一位為電影(越劇《紅樓夢》)配古琴音樂的琴家。其琴風高古淡遠,為人謙和儒雅。先後發掘整理了琴曲《碣石調‧幽蘭》、《廣陵散》、《搔首問天》、《屈原問渡》、《流水》、《蘇門長嘯》等十餘首,又根據毛澤東詩詞而創作琴歌《沁園春‧雪》,曾發表《試談古琴曲的標題與形象》等論文。更不顧年邁體弱,在沒有錄音的條件下,不遺餘力地為姚丙炎記錄其打譜成果《琴曲鉤沉》。

WU Zhen-ping was born in 1907 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province and he passed away in February 1979 in Shanghai. He was a musician, a qin artist and preserved a secret formula to make red ink paste. He has been the music editor of the Shanghai Art Publishing Company. In 1956, He became the first man teaching the qin in the Shanghai Conservatory. From 1957 to 1966, he was appointed the chairman of the Jinyu Qin Musicians Association. In 1949, he has been the first person to play the qin in the films. His transcriptions on the qin included Orchid in Seclusion, in Jie Shi Diao, Guang Ling Verse, QU Yuan Sends Regards to the Sky, Getting Advice of Future, Flowing Water, Whistling Sound at Sumen, etc. He also published many articles on qin music.

胥桐華:

  胥桐華女士,原籍江蘇省丹陽市,一九O五年出生,一九六九年逝世。出身於船民家庭,其操縵學自蜀中鄭老先生,其後遷居揚州,又從胡氏習琴,因此兼善川派和廣陵派琴學藝術。一九五六年,應查阜西先生之邀參加全國琴人普查及錄音,她經常操奏的曲目有《醉漁唱晚》、《耕莘釣渭》、《普庵咒》、《漁樵問答》、《陽關三疊》、《梅花三弄》、《平沙落雁》等,查阜西先生曾對其彈奏的《平沙落雁》,評為“自成風格”。

XU Tong-hua was born in 1905 and passed away in 1969. Her ancestral home was in Danyang, Jiangsu Province. She learned the qin under an elderly man, Mr. ZHENG of the Sichuan School. After she changed her dwelling to Yangzhou, she learned the qin under master HU of Guangling School. In 1956, She was invited by ZHA Fu-xi to record down her performances which included Evening Song of the Drunken Fisherman, Cultivating at Shandong and Fishing at Shensi, Pu-an’s Incatation, A Dialogue between a Fisherman and a Woodcutter, Song of Yangguan, Three Variations of Plum Blossom, Wild Geese over the Calm Sands, etc.

謝導秀:

  謝導秀先生,廣東省梅縣人,一九四O年出生於故鄉。謝先生一九六○年就讀於廣州音樂專科學校民樂系古琴專業,隨嶺南古琴名宿楊新倫學習操縵,得其真傳,尤特精擅《碧澗流泉》等嶺南派曲目,謝氏琴風古樸剛健,明快爽朗,對作育後進,不遺餘力,現任教於廣州星海音樂學院,並任廣東古琴研究會會長。

 

XIE Dao-xiu was born in 1940 in his ancestral home in Mei County, Guangdong Province. In 1960, he was admitted to the Guangzhou Conservatory to study the qin under YANG Xin-lun. He has inherited the arts of Lingnan School from his qin master. He was skillful in playing the Green Brook Running. He is now teaching the qin at Xinghai Conservatory in Guangzhou and also be the chairman of Guangdong Qin Association.

唐健垣:

  唐健垣先生,廣東省南海縣人,一九四六年出生於香港,唐先生琴藝師承吳宗漢、王憶慈伉儷及孫毓芹等名家,又於一九八O年代從吳景略大師習操縵之藝,追求雅、淡、含蓄、和、靜、完整,極具個人演奏風格。唐氏曾分別獲得過國立台灣師範大學文學士、香港中文大學語言學(甲骨文)碩士、美國康州威士連大學民族音樂學博士,其著作有《琴府》等多部學術著作。唐氏研究興趣除古琴外,還包括民樂、戲曲、甲骨文、考古、紫砂壺、茶藝,堪稱“雜家”。

 

TONG Kin-woon was born in 1946 in Hong Kong. His ancestral home was in Nanhai, Guangdong Province. He learned the qin under WU Zong-han, WANG Yi-ci, SUN Yu-qin, etc. In 1980, he further studied under WU Jing-lue. He compiled and published the Book of Qin Music (Ch’in Fu). Apart from playing the qin, he also felt interest in many other subjects like Chinese traditional music and Chinese operatic songs, collection of teapots, etc.

金治中:

  金治中先生,字泓州,雲南省昆明市人,一九四八年十月八日出生,二OO七年七月九日逝世。金先生早年畢業於雲南省化工學校,在雲南洞經音樂世家長大,擅長琵琶、三弦等樂器。一九六九年調入雲南省京劇院,從事專業音樂工作;一九八O年,在中國戲劇學院進修;一九七O年起研習操縵,先後師從李祥霆,吳景略及吳釗;一九八九年調入昆明人民廣播電台,任主任音樂編輯。為中國琴會理事,北京古琴研究會會員,雲南滇暉琴社社長,昆明泓州古琴院院長。

 

JIN Zhi-zhong was born on October 8, 1948 and passed away on July 9, 2007. His first name was Hong-zhou and his ancestral home was in Kunming, Yunnan Province. He was born in a music family and was skillful at playing pipa and sanxian. In 1969, he took his career in the Beijing Opera House in Yunnan. In 1970, he learned the qin under LI Xiang-ting, WU Jing-lue and WU Zhao. In 1989, he was transferred to the People’s Broadcasting Station of Kunming as music editor.

吳兆基:

  吳兆基先生,字湘泉,一九O八年冬生於湖南洞庭湖西濱的漢壽縣,一九九七年八月逝世,享年九十。一九一二年的春天隨父親吳蘭蓀遷居蘇州,十三歲時,在父親的啓蒙下習操縵之術,後隨父參加一九二一年的全國琴人大雅集——“晨風廬琴會”,於此認識並得拜四川洪都琴家吳浸陽為師,獲授《瀟湘水雲》、《漁歌》等操。吳先生一九二六年就讀東吳大學化學系,畢業後任教中學二十五年,一九五六年調任江蘇師範學院數學系,任教至退休,一生以教學為業。吳先生早年琴風繼承其師的中正平和、靜遠淡逸的特點;晚年受其生平所好的太極拳氣功之影響,將氣功與操縵結合,達至精、氣、神的統一,進入一個理想的境地。

 

WU Zhao-ji was born in winter 1908 in Hanshou, Hunan Province and passed away in August 1997 at the age of 90. In 1912, he followed his father WU Lan-sun to change their dwelling place to Suzhou. In the age of thirteen, he started to learn the qin under his father and later under WU Chen-yang who taught him The Mist and Clouds over Xiao-Xiang Rivers and Song of the Fisherman. After his graduation from the University of Suzhou, he started his teaching career in Jiangsu until his retirement.

根如大師:

  根如大師,近現代琴僧,法名印華,江蘇省泰興人氏,一八八六年出生,一九六一年辭世。自幼喪父,六歲時隨師善緣至普陀山豐山庵居,後隨師祖古峰老人至龍游靈耀寺習琴數年,屬新浙派。一九二五年,任南京卧佛寺住持;一九三九年,任南京特別市佛教會候補理事;次年,赴安徽滁州開化寺任住持,並擬議修繕寺院及醉翁亭。新中國成立後,任中國佛教協會理事、中國音樂家協會理事、安徽省政協委員等職。

 

Master Gen Ru was born in 1886 and passed away in 1961. His ancestral home was in Taizing, Jiangsu Province. When he was six, he followed his master Shan Yan to settle in Putuo Mountain and became a monk there with a name Yin Hua. He learned the qin under his great master Gu Feng of the new Zhe School. In 1925, he was the abbot of theWo Fo Monastery. In 1940, he was then the abbot of the Kai Hua Monastery in Chuzhou, Anhui Province.

王生香:

  王生香先生,原名敬亭,號賣履翁,山東省費縣人,一九O二年出生於故鄉,一九七五年病逝於南京。王先生幼時,在家鄉因漫步河畔,遇一操縵之士,後悉之為王露,遂拜師入門學藝,其後又得詹澂秋指授,續成諸城琴學。師範畢業後,從事教職,又曾任費縣縣長之職。一九四八年遷居南京,柴靡茅屋,清貧渡日,鑽研琴學,樂此不疲,因得與金陵各琴家往還,融各派琴藝於一身,形成自身的特點。其著作甚豐,計有《金陵訪琴錄》、《冶山琴譜》、《鑒琴六要》、《廣陵散商榷》、《琴道新編》、《神奇祕譜指法一斑》及《拍節考證》等,嘗任江蘇省文史館館員。

 

WANG Sheng-xiang was born in 1902 in his ancestral home Fei County, Shandong Province and he passed away of illness in 1975 in Nanjing. His first name was Jing-ting and the other name was Mai Lu Weng. When he was young, he met a WANG Lu at the pool side then he learned the qin under him. Later on, he further studied under ZHAN Cheng-qiu. In 1948, he changed his dwelling place to Nanjing. He then visited and learned more from the Nanjing players. He was employed by the Literature and History Research Institute of Nanjing.

沈草農:

  沈草農先生,號琴戡,原籍浙江省蕭山市,生於一八九一年,逝世於一九七三年。沈氏早歲曾在湖北宜昌學琴,稍長,拜裴介卿門下,歸宗川派。其琴風高古淡遠,不同凡響,惟其參加今虞琴社後,雜學諸家之藝,查阜西先生認為其“風格已非舊矣”。沈氏曾著《古琴自學法》一書,其後於一九六一年與查阜西、張子謙據此合編《古琴初階》行世,其傳世著作還有《珍霞閣詩草初稿》及《珍霞閣詞稿》。

 

SHEN Cao-nong was born in 1891 and passed away in 1973. His other name was Qin-kan and his ancestral home was in Xiaoshan, Zhejiang Province. When he was young, he learned the qin in Yichang, Hubei Province and later on he studied under PEI Jie-qing of Sichuan School. He has written a book Learning the Qin by Yourselve. In 1961, he then rewrote it together with ZHA Fu-xi and ZHANG Zi-qian and rename it as Elementary Book of Guqin.、

樂瑛:

  樂瑛女士,北京人氏,生於清廷鼎革之際(一九一一年,另說一九O四年),約於一九六O年代初逝世,是近代為數不多的女琴家之一。自幼,在京城開設有著名“樂家老藥店–同仁堂”的父親督教下,受到傳統文化的嚴格教育,少年時由其父延請京城著名琴家黃勉之的學生賈闊峰到家內授琴,盡得賈氏真傳,尤擅操奏《滄海龍吟》、《岳陽三醉》、《韋編三絕》等曲。樂氏琴風,指力蒼勁,按音堅實,吟猱得法,節奏靈巧,富於韻味,縱有成就,惜無傳人。在近現代北京琴壇上的影響,與管平湖齊名,分別為男女琴家的代表。新中國成立後,參加北京市業餘古琴研究會,與同好一起眾樂樂。

 

YUE Ying was born in 1911 (another saying, 1904) in Beijing and passed away around 1960 in Beijing. Since her childhood, she received Chines traditional education under her father who set up and ran the Beijing Tong Ren Tang Medicine Company. When she was young, she learned the qin under the famous master HUANG Mian-zhi’s student JIE Kuo-feng. She was skillful at playing the Crying of the Dragon in Deep Blue Sea, Soaring at the Lake Dongting, Hard Study of Confucius, etc. She was one of the few female qin players in the old days and was equally famous to the male qin player GUAN Ping-hu.

馬壽洛:

  馬壽洛先生,又名馬祝眉,浙江省溫州人,一八六四年出生,家居浙江溫州麻行關帝廟旁澹園。馬先生琴學出於二百多年的家傳,他的曾祖父在北京向一位山東人學得琴曲四操,盡得其奧,返溫州後傳給學生徐茞生,馬老的隔代孫馬元熙,再從徐茞生處得回家傳之學,又向廣東遊方到溫州的孤峰和尚增益琴藝,並手輯《友石山房琴譜》,馬家琴學藝術至此達至高峰。馬壽洛先生的琴藝是由其父馬元熙嫡傳的,馬先生在本集所收曲操的錄音,年事已屆九十二高齡,音節不亂,洵為可貴。

 

MA Shou-luo was born in 1864. His other name was MA Zhu-mei and his ancestral home was in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province. He had a more than two hundred years ancestered qin inheritance. His grand-grandfather learned the qin under a Shandong qin player at Beijing and after coming home he taught it to XU Chai-sheng. MA Shou-luo’s father MA Yuan-xi learned it back from XU Chai-sheng and passed it down to MA Shou-luo. The recordings of MA Shou-luo in this album are valuable that he recorded them in the age of 92.

毓鄰初:

  毓鄰初先生,滿州愛新族,覺羅氏人,名毓峑,字鄰初,以字行,清宗室後人,溥雪齋先生之長子,一九二四年(農曆甲子年八月十八日)出生於北京,一九九九年卒於廣東旅途中,曾肄業於輔仁大學數學系,任北京師專數學教師,賦有音樂天才,擅長古琴操縵,公餘期間,聽其父彈琴,隨即上手,不僅彈奏傳統古曲,且將《解放軍進行曲》移植於古琴上演奏。為北京古琴會會員。

 

YU Lin-chu was born in 1924 in Beijing and passed away at the journey to Guangdong in 1999. He was the elder son of PU Xue-zhai and his first name was Quan. He was the ancester to the Aisin Gioro of the Royal Family of Qing Dynasty. He has been the teacher of the Beijing Teacher Training School. His qin performance was learning from listening to his father’s performance.

夏蓮居:

  夏蓮居先生,名繼泉,字溥齋,號渠園,在日本時曾用名夏泉,歸國後改名蓮居,取號一翁,山東省鄆城縣人,一八八四年三月二十日生於新疆於闐,晚年寓居北京,一九六五年十二月十四日夜間唸佛聲中安祥西逝於北京,享年八十二歲。清末入仕直隸知州,辛亥革命時公推為山東省各界聯合會會長,一九一八年當選國會議員,並任齊魯金石書畫館監督,一九二五年被張宗昌迫逃日本,兩年後返國臥病津沽,一九三二年遷居北平,以研究佛學為主。其一生除治學外,金石書畫、文物考古,均亦擅長,且收藏宏富,鑒定頗精。一九六二年八十歲時,為表愛國之心,將一生撙衣節食所收藏之歷史珍貴文物三百餘件,分別捐獻給故宮博物院及山東博物館等國家機構。

 

XIA Lian-ju was born on March 20, 1884 in Yutian, Xinjiang and passed away at the age of 82 on December 14, 1965 in Beijing. His ancestral home was in City Yun, Shandong Province. Mr. Xia was named Ji-quan, aliases Pu-zhai and Qu-yuan. In 1925, he went to Japan and used the name XIA Quan. After two years, he came back to China and changed the name to XIA Lian-ju and lived in Beijing since 1932. In 1911, he was the chairman of the United Associations of Shandong. In 1918, he was the supervisor of the Institute of Chinese Printing and Calligraphy of Shandong. He was fond of collecting antiques. In 1962, he donated all his collections to the National Museum and Shandong Museum.

陳雯:

  陳雯女士,生長於台灣,一九六一年出生於台灣新竹。一九八五年畢業於台北中國文化大學音樂系古琴專業;一九七七年在王海燕啟蒙下學習古琴,一九七九年師從台北著名琴家孫毓芹,學習操縵並得其真傳,其琴風古雅端樸。陳氏嘗任台北和真琴社社長之職,又對古琴弦歌推廣致力。

 

CHEN Wen was born in 1961 in Xinzhu, Taiwan. In 1985, she graduated from the Chinese Culture University in Taipei with the qin as a major. Since 1977, she learned the qin under WANG Hai-yan. In 1979, she further studied under SUN Yu-chin. She was active in teaching and performing, and fostering the development of a small but growing circle of players and connoisseurs of the qin.

溥雪齋:

  溥雪齋先生,滿族人,一八九三年出生於北京,一九六六年逝世。雪齋先生為清宗室,原名愛新覺羅‧溥伒,以字行,號雪道人、又號南石居士,筆名南石、邃園、樂山等,堂號怡清堂、松風草堂,琴棋書畫無不精通,尤長山水。青少年時即從當時著名古琴家黃勉之弟子賈濶峰學彈古琴,後改彈三弦等其他樂器,經常參加演出活動直至晚年,琴藝精湛,風格灑脫。一九三O年起,從事文化藝術工作,曾任輔仁大學美術系主任。一九五O年後,歷任北京市文化藝術界聯合會理事、北京市書法研究社副社長、北京古琴研究會主席、北京中國畫研究會理事、北京市文史館館員、中國美術家協會北京會副主席、中國美術家協會會員。

PU Xue-zhai was born in 1893 in Beijing, Hebei Province and passed away in 1966. His name was Pu Xin and belonged to the Aisin Gioro of the Royal Family of Qing Dynasty. He was skillful at Chinese painting and calligraphy. He learned the qin under JIA Kuo-feng who was the successor of the qin master HUANG Mian-zhi in Beijing. Later on, he also learned the sanxian. At his later years, he joined many cultural activities in Beijing.

詹澂秋:

      詹澂秋先生,名智濬,號水雲,別號襄陽學人,齋名梅雲館,祖籍湖北襄陽,出生於一八九O年,一九七三年逝世。法政專校本科畢業,一九一一年在山東濟南開始師從諸城派琴家玉露學習操縵,盡得王氏真傳,曾被譽為有「青出於藍」之說,詹先生之琴風,整體上繼承了王露的傳统,具有音韻寬厚,鏗鏘有力,華麗凝重,粗獷豪放,堅毅樸實,剛柔相濟的特點,是典型的山東風格,他特擅操《石上流泉》、《雙鶴聽泉》等曲。

 

ZHAN Cheng-qiu was born in 1890 and passed away in 1973. His first name was Zhi-xun, alias Shui-yun and his ancestral home was in Xiangyang, Hubei Province. In 1911, he started to learn the qin under WANG Lu of Shandong Zhucheng School. He inherited all WANG Lu’s Shandong qin features and skillful at playing A Stony Stream and Listening to the Murmuring Stream.

鄭珉中:

  鄭珉中先生,原籍福建閩侯,寄籍四川華陽,一九二三年生於寄居北京的書香世家,幼年求學之際即兼及古琴書畫。一九四六年到故宮博物院工作,歷任科員、組員、副組長、歷代藝術組、法書銘刻組、繪畫組、銅器組、美術史組、金石組、工藝組組長、助理研究員。一九八三年評為副研究員,一九八六年經文化部評定為研究館員,授予古代工藝美術史專業研究館員職稱證書,一九九四年退休後繼續返聘,一九九O年被聘為國家文物鑑定委員會委員,享受國家特殊津貼待遇。

 

ZHENG Min-zhong was born in 1923 in Beijing. His ancestral home was in Minhou, Fujian Province. His early education also included qin and Chinese painting. He was introduced to work in the Palace Museum in 1946. His job there covered the study on art history, epigraphs, painting, bronzeware, painting history, inscription and handcraft. In 1986, he was promoted to be a research scholar in ancient painting history. In 1990, he was appointed a member of National Relics Appraisal Committee.
In his childhood, he learned the qin under WANG Xing-dong and LI Yu-xing and learned painting under LIN Yan-bo and WANG Ai-shi. In 1940, he started to learned the qin under GUAN Ping-hu from the vvery begining. In six years, he concentrated on practicing thirteen qin pieces, including Tune for a Peaceful night, Wild Geese over the Calm Sands and Water Immortal. Afterwards, he taught qin in the house of PU Xue-zhai, a famous painter, and learnt painting. Joinly with other qin artists and celebrities in Beijing, he initiated the set up of the Beijing Qin Society and participated in the gatherings. In 1954, it changed the name and newly founded the Beijing Qin Reaserch Association. He took part in its performances and gatherings and was recommended to be vice chairman of the Assciation.

盧家炳:

  盧家炳先生,字秀石,號醉琴樓主人,齋名春雨草堂,原籍廣東省中山縣,一八九六年二月二十二日出生於家鄉,一九八O年逝世於香港。盧先生二十二歲畢業於嶺南大學,其後曾任教中山大學,遷居香港後開辦盧氏英文書院;先生自十六歲開始學琴,一九三O年代於廣州曾從師容心言,一九五二年在香港退休後,自行打譜、研究與創作,其琴風韻味自成一家。曾與香港的國樂家組織“香港古典音樂社”,並任社長之職。

 

LO Ka-ping was born on February 22, 1896 in his ancestral home Zhongshan, Guangdong Province and passed away in 1980 at the age of 84. His first name was Sau-shek and his other name was the Master of the Drunken Qin-house. When he was twenty two, he graduated from the Ling Nam University. He was on the teaching staff of the Sun Yat Sen University. After settling in Hong Kong, he became the Principal of his own school in 1964, Lo’s English Academy. He began to learn the qin when he was sixteen. In 1930’s, he studied the qin under RONG Xin-yan in Guangzhou. Since his retirement in 1952, he took research in qin music and transcription. Besides, he was also fond of Chinese traditional music and was the chairman of the Hong Kong Traditional Music Club.

馬杰:

  馬杰先生,號石青,南京人氏,一九五七年出生,少時好墨弄琴,師從張正吟先生學習國畫及古琴,一九七六年從學於龔一先生,又得前輩樂人程午嘉、甘濤、張銳、梅曰強、林友仁等,悉心指導,先後參加了第二屆、第三屆的全國古琴打譜會,發表了論文《古琴繼承與創新》等。一九九二年,獲得杭州古琴邀請賽的“優秀演奏獎”。現為中國琴會常務理事,中國民族管弦樂學會古琴專家委員會委員,南京幽蘭文化藝術中心主任,幽蘭琴社社長。

 

MA Jie was born in 1957 in Nanjing. His first name is Jie and alias Shiqing. He is fond of qin and Chinese painting. During his childhood, he studied painting and the qin under ZHANG Zheng-yin. In 1976, he studied the qin under GONG Yi. After that, he visited many other musicians like CHENG Wu-jia, GAN Tao. ZHANG Rui, MEI Yue-qiang and LIN You-ren to enrich his knowledge. He has taken part in the second and third National Transcription of Qin Music Meeting. In 1992, he won the “Excellent Performance” award in the Invitation of Guqin Competition in Hangzhou.

丁紀園:

  丁紀園女士,河南鄧州人,一九四二年出生。在學期間,就讀於瀋陽音樂學院,一九六二年開始師從蜀派古琴名家顧梅羮學習操縵之藝,得顧氏傳授琴樂名曲二十餘首,尤擅《流水》、《醉漁唱晚》、《漢宮秋月》、《普庵咒》、《平沙落雁》、《瀟湘水雲》、《憶故人》諸操。又致力於打譜工作,發掘整理出《漢宮秋》、《莊周夢蝶》、《宋玉悲秋》等曲。現居於河南鄭州,其演奏風格端莊雋永,清麗凝重,將所學薪傳,不遺餘力。

 

DING Ji-yuan was born in 1942. Her ancestral home was in Dengzhou, Henan Province. She was studied at Shenyang Conservatory and she started to learn the qin under GU Mei-geng of the Sichuan School in 1962. She is skillful at playing Flowing Water, Evening Song of the Drunken Fisherman, Autumn Moon over the Han Palace, Pu-an’s Incantation, Wild Geeses over the Calm Sands, The Mist and Clouds over Xiao-Xiang Rivers, Memories of an Old Friend, etc.

郭同甫:

  郭同甫先生,祖籍福建省福州市人,一八八三年(農曆九月九日)出生於家鄉,一九七O年十月二十二日在上海逝世。郭同甫先生,早歲學習操縵於張慕樵,盡得浦城派之琴藝,遷居上海後,與滬地琴人相往還,一九五六年查阜西先生領導三人小組,向全國琴人進行採訪、錄音,即將郭先生之《水仙操》及《平沙落雁》收錄存案;他是上海文史館的館員,他對圍棋藝術有精深的研究和影響,一九五O年代在上海開始培養出不少的圍棋高手,都在圍棋界中擔任要職,和在比賽中獲得冠軍。

 

GUO Tong-fu was born in 1883 in his ancestral home Fuzhou, Fujian Province and passed away on October 22, 1970 in Shanghai. He learned the qin under ZHANG Mu-qiao when he was young. After he changed his dwelling place to Shanghai, he visited the qin players in Shanghai and later was employed by the Literature and History Research Institute of Shanghai. He was also an expert in chess. Many of his followers held important positions in the field and got prizes in important national competitions since 1950.

劉楚華:

  劉楚華女士,一九五O年出生於香港,在大學修讀中國文學及哲學期間,對中國傳統音樂發生濃厚興趣,曾玩習多種絃樂器,其後盡棄前學,專意於琴道。一九七O年代初,追隨居港琴家蔡德允女史學琴,一直以來受她的德學修養所薰陶。一九八O年代,到國內遊歷,遍訪名家,先後得已故之張子謙先生及姚丙炎先生親為指授,自此開闊學藝視野,並逐漸形成個人之演奏風格。其特點在取音純美、雅潔,指腕活潑、靈敏,演繹流暢、自然,氣質秀逸,在怡然自得之中洋溢詩意的幽芳。

 

LAU Chor-wah was born in 1950 in Hong Kong. When she was studying Chinese Literature and Philosophy in the university, she became very interested in traditional Chinese music. After trying many string instruments, she decided to specialize in playing the qin. In the early 1970’s, she learned the qin under TSAR Teh-yun. In 1980’s, she travelled all over China an learned under many qin masters, and in particular received the guidance of ZHANG Zi-qian and YAO Bing-yin. Since then, her performing style has been gradually established. Her qin playing is characterized by refined tone, skilful fingering and natural interpretation.

龔幽蘭:

  龔幽蘭女士,一九七九年三月出生於上海,六歲隨父親龔一學琴,曾獲“敦煌杯–少兒民族樂器比賽”古琴演奏獎,二OO一年獲古琴考級「十級–優秀」的成績,又在二OO二年中國文化部舉辦的“中國古琴大賽”中,以《樓蘭散》一曲獲得青年業餘組“金獎”,並在中央電視台“風華國樂”中攝像播出。自二OO八年參加上海“九派琴院”的古琴教學實踐,積累了豐富的經驗,更於二O一一年夏天獲邀赴馬來西亞演出。

GONG You-lan was born in March 1979 in Shanghai. When she was six, she began to study the qin under her father GONG Yi and awarded a merit on the Duanhuang Cup – Competition of Chinese Traditional Instruments. In 2001, she achieved her goal to get highest mark in grade 10 of the Standard Qin Examination. In 2002, she performed the Tune of Loulan to get the gold-medal of Chinese Qin Competition organized by the Cultural Department of China. She has been very active in the music area of Shanghai.

劉麗:

  劉麗女士,一九六三年出生於上海,一九八八年畢業於中央音樂學院民樂系,後獲任中國音樂學院古琴教席。劉女士先後師徒古琴名家龔一、張子謙、李祥霆、吳景略、吳文光等,深得吳派琴學之精髓,演奏融各家之長,剛柔並濟,音色醇厚細膩,中央人民廣播電台、上海人民廣播電台,更曾先後作《劉麗演奏藝術》的專題介紹。

 

LIU Li was born in 1963 in Shanghai. After she graduated from the National Music Department of the Central Conservatory in 1988, she was the lecturer of qin of the China Conservatory. She studied the qin under GONG Yi, ZHANG Zi-qian, LI Xiang-ting, WU Jing-lue, WU Wen-guang, etc. Her performance reflects the quintessence of the Wu School blended with good qualities from other Schools. Her music has both strength and grace and her tone is rich and subtle. She has been very active in the music area of Beijing.

王迪:

  王迪女士,北京人,一九二三年出生,二OO五年四月二十六日病逝於北京。從小喜愛操縵,拜在我國古琴大師管平湖門下學琴,深得真傳。一九五二年畢業於中央音樂學院,其後二十多年,一直留校工作,在該院所屬民族音樂研究所協助管平湖先生從事古琴研究工作;一九五六年與許健參加查阜西先生領導的三人小組,向全國琴人進行採訪、錄音、調查工作。由於王迪女士有深厚的琴藝基礎,又具系統的現代音樂知識,自六十年代以來,就致力於琴歌的發掘和打譜研究,經過辛勤的努力,把現代琴學的演唱藝術,邁出了可喜的一步。

WANG Di was born in 1923 in her ancestral home in Beijing and passed away of illness on April 26, 2005 in Beijing. She was fond of qin music since her childhood. She learned the qin under GUAN Ping-hu. She graduated from the Central Conservatory in 1952 and was on the researching staff of the Alma Mater for more then twenty years. In 1956, she joined ZHA Fu-xi and XU Jian to go through over 20 places in China for collecting qin materials and to record over 60 qin player’s performance in more than two hundred picecs of qin music. She was an expert on researching and rearranging of qinge.

龍琴舫:

  龍琴舫先生,四川省成都市人,生於一八八八年,一九五九年病故於成都。嘗居成都梁山,自幼鍾愛操縵,十三歲開始師承蜀地霸派楊紫東,一九一二年設館授徒,一九五四年應聘為中央音樂學院民族音樂研究所特約演奏員。龍氏的操縵,指力強勁,按音堅實,輕重有度,吟猱得法,「齊撮」更具特點。尤擅操弄《搗衣》、《岳陽三醉》、《滄海龍吟》、《醉漁唱晚》、《漢宮秋月》、《陽春》等曲,而《滄海龍吟》一操,則與樂瑛所奏賈闊峰譜,實為同名異曲。

 

LONG Qin-fang was born in 1888 in Chengdu, Sichuan and passed away of illness in 1959 in Chengdu, Sichuan. He was fond of the qin since his childhood. When he was thirteen, he learned it under YANG Zi-dong of Sichuan School. In 1921, he began to teach the qin. In 1954, he was appointed to the Music Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Arts as a specially invited research fellow. His famous performances included Cleaning Clothes at the Riverside, Soaring at the Lake Dongting, Crying of the Dragon in Deep Blue Sea, Evening Song of the Drunken Fisherman, Autumn Moon over the Han Palace, Sunny Spring, etc.

李孔元:

  李孔元先生,台灣省台南縣人,一九五九年出生。自幼喜愛中國音樂,曾參加國樂社,學習古箏及琵琶的演奏,一九七七年開始師事容天圻先生,學習操縵之藝,一九八一年畢業於台灣成功大學中國文學系,其後在台中的中學任國文教職,並開始應邀參加各種的演出活動,由於長期得到容天圻先生之薰陶與啟發,開始逐步形成流暢平易的個人風格,其琴音遂獲“珠圓玉潤、靈動暢達”及“爐火純青、妙造自然”的評論。

 

LI Kong-yuan was born in 1959 in Tainan, Taiwan. He was fond of music since his childhood and learned many traditional instruments like zheng and pipa. In 1977, he started to learn the qin under RONG Tian-qi. After graduated from the university, he became a teacher in Taizhong. He then took part in many activities and performances and got good comments.

徐曉英:

  徐曉英女士,浙江省衢州市人,一九三七年出生。一九五四年拜在浙派古琴名宿徐元白門下學習操縵,一九六O年代,從遊於張子謙、查阜西、楊乾齋諸生生,獲益良多,擅操徐氏親傳之《平沙落雁》、《普庵咒》、《瀟湘水雲》及查先生的《蘇武思君》,其琴風嚴謹樸實,現於杭州授徒傳藝。

 

XU Xiao-ying was born in 1937 and her ancestral home was in Quzhou, Zhejiang Province. In 1954, she learned the qin under XU Yuan-bai. Since 1960’s, she visited ZHANG Zi-qian, ZHA Fu-xi, YANG Qian-zhai, etc. to enrich her knowledge on qin music. She likes to play the Wild Geese over the Calm Sands, Pu-an’s Incantation, Mist and Clouds over Xiao-Xiang Rivers and the Faithful Song of Su Wu. She is now a qin teacher in Hangzhou.

汪孟舒:

  汪孟舒先生,字希董,江蘇省蘇州市人,一八八七年出生於故鄉,一九六九年病逝於北京。宣統元年(一九O九年),以京師農工商部高等實業學堂機器專科最優等畢業,後以其專業服務社會。汪先生善書畫,喜收藏,其操縵之藝傳自葉詩夢,得其真傳,名聞一方,又獲葉氏舊藏,盛唐雷威所斵名琴“春雷”,此琴曾列宋徽宗萬琴堂之首;亦藏有“枯木龍吟”琴,皆為名琴中之珍品。新中國成立後,被中國音樂研究所聘為特約研究員,畢生致力琴學之研究,從事譜錄的搜集、影摹、輯錄、校勘與注釋。一九五七年定稿了《烏絲欄指法釋》,又曾抄錄了《詩夢齋琴譜》一部。

 

WANG Meng-shu was born in 1887 in his ancestral home Suzhou, Jiangsu Province and passed away of illness in 1969 in Beijing. His first name was Xi Dong. In 1909, he graduated from school in Beijing. He was skillful at Chinese painting and calligraphy which he learned from YE Shi-meng. He liked to preserve antiques. Many famous qins were preserved by him. He was appointed to the Music Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Arts as a specially invited research fellow. From 1957, he started to have his researched results by many writings.

陳長林:

  陳長林先生,曾用名“陳長齡”,福建省福州市人,一九三二年出生於福州。中國科學院計算技術研究所研究員,中國琴會常務理事,北京古琴研究會理事。一九四六年從父親陳澤鍠(琴趣)和表姨吳子美開始學習閩派琴藝,一九五一年參加“今虞琴社”,向吳景略、張子謙等琴家請益,一九五六年到北京,在中國科學院從事電腦研製工作,又參加“北京古琴研究會”,向查阜西等琴家學習,以閩派為基礎,兼收各派之長,形成自己的特點。一九五八年開始發掘、打譜琴曲《胡笳十八拍》、《大胡笳》(龍朔操)、《莊周夢蝶》等近三十曲。 CHEN Chang-lin was born in 1932 in Fuzhou, Fujian Province. Beforehand, he used CHEN Chang-ling as his name. In 1946, he began to learn the qin of Min School under his father CHEN Ze-huang and aunt WU Zi-mei. In 1951, he joined the Jinyu Qin Musicians Association and learned the qin under WU Jing-lue and ZHANG Zi-qian. In 1956, he worked at the Academia Sinica Institute of Computing Technology, Beijing as a research fellow. At that time, he joined the Beijing Qin Society and learned the qin under ZHA Fu-xi. Since1958, he wrote more than 30 articles on qin music research.

容思澤:

  容思澤先生,原籍中國東北黑龍江省,滿族鑲白旗人,一九三一年九月九日出生於廣州,二O一O年三月十五日在香港逝世。其琴學為家傳,自曾祖慶瑞學習操縵於浙江錢塘李澄宇,後宦遊粵海,得與粵地琴友交,獲《古岡遺譜》、《悟雪山房琴譜》等流行粵地之名譜,遂成家學,娶側室李芝仙,並授琴藝,一八七三年著刋《琴瑟合譜》,越二年病故,家人遷户廣東番禺,民國後改「容」姓。李氏將琴學嫡傳三子容葆廷及孫容心言,再傳容思澤,其子孫亦繼承家學,現已延達六代,此為容氏琴學之淵源。容思澤先生遷居香港後,於一九五O年考入香港皇家警察,後轉民眾安全服務處工作,一九八五年退休,其間操縵不絕,除與港地琴人謝心回、盧家炳、蔡德允、饒宗頤諸先生往還外,還致力將祖學傳承,桃李滿門。

 

RONG Si-ze was born on September 9, 1931 in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province and passed away on March 15, 2010. Her ancestral home was in Heilungjiang Province, Northeastern China. He learned the qin under family tradition since their ancestor, Qing Rui, who learned it from LI Cheng-yu in late Qing Dynasty. Later on, Qing Rui worked away from his homeland to Guangdong and kept close with qin friends there. At that time, he got many famous scores including the Posthumous Scores of Gugang, Qin Scores of Wu Xue Shan Fang, etc. In 1873, he published his book, Qinse Hepu. His wife LI Zhi-xian learned the qin from him and taught it to his son and grand son RONG Bao-ting and RONG Xin-yan respectively. RONG Si-ze then learned it from his father RONG Xin-yan. After settling in Hong Kong, he taught his family successors and many others that helped actuate the development of qin music in Hong Kong.

陳熙珵:

  陳熙珵女士,北京人,一九四四年七月生於北京。自幼從父學習音樂,一九五九年在北京古琴研究會拜師古琴名宿管平湖門下,一九六O年考入中央音學院附中古琴專業,一九六三年升讀大學民樂系,一九六八年畢業於中國音樂學院古琴專業,就學期間,一直師從吳景略先生。一九七三年至一九九二年任浙江省歌舞劇院演員及音樂理論課老師,又任教於浙江藝術學院。現任全國民族樂器演奏藝術水平考級委員會古琴專家委員會委員。

 

CHEN Xi-cheng was born in July 1944 in Beijing. She was fond of music since her childhood. In 1959, she learned the qin under GUAN Ping-hu in Beijing. In 1963, she was admitted to the China Conservatory learned under WU Jing-lue and graduated in 1968 with qin performance as profession. From 1973 to 1992, she was the musician and theory teacher of the National Music Ensemble of the Zhejiang Song and Dance Troupe. She also offered courses of “History of Ancient Music in China” and “National Musical Instruments” in Zhejiang Vocational Academy of Art.

高仲鈞:

  高仲鈞先生,天津琴人,一九二一年出生於河北省霸縣,二OO三年在天津逝世,享年八十二歲。一九四一年從管平湖先生學習操縵,並曾參加第二次及第三次全國古琴打譜交流會,一九八O年正式教授古琴,一九九O年開辦天津東方藝術學院,為中國第一所古琴專門學校。

 

GAO Zhong-jun was born in 1921 in County Ba, Hebei Province. In 1941, he studied the qin under GUAN Ping-hu. He has been taken part in the second and third National Transcription of Qin Music Meeting. He started to teach the qin since 1980. In 1990, he founded the Eastern Art Academy in Tianjin which was the first school merely for teaching of qin.

陳閱聰:

  陳閱聰先生,北京人,祖籍河南省靈寶縣,生於一九一七年,二OO八年逝世於北京。一九三八年畢業於北平大學工學院應化系,歷任東北大學教授,冶金部北京鋼鐵設計研究總院高級工程師等職。陳先生幼年時曾學鋼琴,十五歲拜師張友鶴先生門下學習操縵,屬諸城派琴家,十九歲即著有“古琴淺說”刊於一九三六年蘇州美術專科學校出版的《浪藝》。其後,又得楊葆元先生傳授琴法,六十多年來一直醉心於研究古琴藝術,他的演奏質樸純真,這應與老師們的教導和他的性格分不開的,因擅長琴曲《長門怨》,而有“陳長門”之稱。陳先生為北京古琴研究會會員,藏有宋代古琴“凍夜觀泉”。

CHEN Yue-cong was born in 1917 in Beijing and passed away in 2008 in Beijing. His ancestral home was in Lingbao, Henan Province. In 1938, he graduated from the department of Applied Chemistry, Peking University. He had been the professor of the Northeastern University and the Senior Engineer of the Steel Design Research Institute, Ministry of Metallurgy. Started with piano in early tears, he studied the qin at fifteen under ZHANG You-he. His Introduction to Guqin was written at nineteen and published in 1936 in a journal of the Suzhou Arts Institute. His special character and tutelage with ZHANG You-he made him indulged in the art of qin for over sixty years with a genuine and tranquil virtuosity.

張子盛:

  張子盛先生,一九七一年八月一日出生於津門,一九九O年就學於天津東方業餘藝術學院,在津門老琴家高仲鈞先生的啟蒙下學習操縵,又先後請教於吳文光教授,及多位著名琴家,一九九二年榮獲杭州古琴賽“優秀演奏獎”(最高獎項),一九九四年主持創辦天津古琴會,一九九九年在天津文廟創辦了國內首家職業琴館,對琴樂薪傳不遺餘力。現為中國古琴考級專家評委,天津古琴會常務副會長,中國琴會理事等。

 

ZHANG Zi-sheng was born on August 1, 1971 in his ancestral home Tianjin. He studied the qin at Tianjin Dongfang Sparetime Art School under GAO Zhong-jun in 1990. He also studied under the well-known players such as LIU Li, WU Wen-guang, GONG Yi, LI Xiang-ting, etc. In 1994, he founded the Tianjin Guqin Society and planned and organized dozens of influential art and musical activities. In 1999, he founded his Guqin Art Centre in Tianjin. He is a member of the Chinese Traditional Musical Instruments Society, the Guqin Special Committee, the Nationalwide Guqin Grade Test Specialists Committee, and the vice chairman of the Guqin Special Committee, Tainjin Musicians’ Association.

沈興順:

  沈興順先生,一九五六年生於香港,先後隨寓港容思澤、蔡德允二師習琴,並獲北京吳景略、蘇州吳兆基教授指導。操縵之餘蒐訪歷代古斲並考其沿革,所藏宋元明清琴曾展出於香港(一九九八、二OO三)、台北(二OOO)及澳門(二OO四)各地博物館。一九九七年北京音樂研究所聘為特約研究員,一九九八年起擔任香港德愔琴社副社長至今,撰有《歷代琴器概說》、《絃外雜錄》、《潞琴考略》、《香江琴話》等。

 

SHUM Hing-shun was born in 1956 in Hong Kong. He learned the qin under RONG Si-ze and TSAR Teh-yun and got advice from WU Jing-lue and WU Zhao-ji. He was fond of preserving antique qins. His collections has been exhibited in Hong Kong (1998, 2003), Taiwan (2000) and Macau (2004). He was appointed to the Music Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Arts as a specially invited research fellow. He was the vice-chairman of the Deyin Qin Society since 1998.

楊葆元:

  楊葆元先生,字乾齋,湖南省寧遠縣清水橋人,被譽為湘中琴學名宿,楊時百的哲嗣,一八九九年出生,一九六二年一月二十一月病逝於北京。其琴藝直宗並深得其獨步燕都的父親,宣南為琴來室、舞胎仙館主人,九疑山人楊宗稷(時百)的真傳,其琴風深具北派以味取勝的特點,蒼古正大,技巧豐富,格調高峻,沉吟有致。一九四七年,楊先生與張伯駒、溥雪齋、王世襄、管平湖、鄭珉中等人發起組織了“北平琴學社”,一九五四年,改名為“北京古琴研究會”。

 

YANG Bao-yuan was born in 1899 and passed away of illness on January 21, 1962 in Beijing. His first name was Qian Zhai and his ancestral home was in Qingshui Qiao of Ningyuan, Hunan Province. He inherited all his father’s performing art in the qin. In 1947, he and ZHANG Bo-ju, PU Xue-zhai, WANG Shi-xiang, GUAN Ping-hu together with ZHENG Min-zhong founded the Peiping Qin Association and renamed the Qin Research Association of Beijing in 1954.

俞伯蓀:

  俞伯蓀先生祖籍四川成都,一九二二年出生於故鄉。少時習戲曲及各種民族樂器,十四歲時習操縵於川派琴家陳蘊儒及龍琴舫門下;及長,與琴壇名宿查阜西、吳景略、溥雪齋等諸公遊。數十年來操縵不絕,將琴藝薪火相傳,曾創辦“蜀新琴社”、“古風國樂社”,嘗任“東坡詩琴社”社長之職,與夫人俞炎女士,將蜀派氣韻琴歌、琴樂,通過音樂會、雅集、詩詞吟唱會等,向各界作推廣介紹。

 

YU Bo-sun was born in 1922 in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. When he was young, he learnt many traditional Chinese instruments and opera. In the age of fourteen, he learned the qin under CHEN Yun-ru and LONG Qin-fang of the Sichuan School. Later, he travelled along different parts of China and visited and made friends with qin masters ZHA Fu-xi, WU Jing-lue, PU Xue-zhai etc. He founded the Dong-po Poetry and Qin Music Association and became the leader. Besides, he also founded Shu Xin Qin Music Association and Gu Feng Traditional Music Association to promote the qin music and qin ge of the Sichuan School together with his wife YU Yan.

許健:

  許健先生,原籍河北省磁縣,一九二三年出生於天津。一九四二年開始就讀於重慶青木關國立音樂院,畢業後在重慶任音樂教師。新中國成立後參軍,抗美援朝時,從事戰地音樂活動,一九五四年復員返北京,任職中國音樂研究所至退休;其間,從楊蔭瀏、查阜西及管平湖修習古琴及樂學研究。一九五六年,任北京古琴研究會副會長,同年又與王迪參加查阜西先生領導的三人小組,向全國琴人進行採訪及錄音存檔。一九六二年及一九八三年,與王迪匯編《古琴曲集》,成正、續二集分年出版;一九八二年,又出版《琴史初編》,自一九八O年代開始,許先生又對傳統琴曲進行發掘及打譜,卓有成績。

 

XU Jian was born in 1923 in Tianjin, Hebei Province. His ancestral home was in County Ci, Hebei Province. In 1942, he studied in the National Conservatory of Qing Mu Guan, Zhongqing. After his graduation, he became a music teacher in Zhongqing. In 1954, he was admitted to the Music Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Arts and worked there until his retirement. After his joining the music research institute, he learned the qin and music theories under GUAN Ping-hu and YANG Yin-liu respectively. In 1956, he became the vice chairman of the Beijing Qin Society. In the same year, he and WANG Di joined ZHA Fu-xi to travel around China to have the qin players’ sound recording. In 1962 and 1983, he and WANG Di together published the Book of Qin Music respectively. In 1982, he published his own article the History of Qin.

謝孝苹:

  謝孝苹先生,江蘇省泰州市海安縣人,一九二O年七月十八日出生,一九九八年五月病逝於北京。早年在南京修業,後入東吳大學,修讀國際政治;課餘期間,於一九四O年隨吳景略學琴,其後加入今虞琴社;一九四五年後,長期服務於南京中國外交界,因工作關係,奔走四方,遂借機請益於張子謙、吳宗漢、夏一峰、查阜西、徐立孫等名家,獲益良多。一九五O年調至北京外交部;一九七九年,徵調為中國社會科學院歷史研究所研究員。謝先生的琴學論文有《中國古琴學發凡》、《中國古琴創始於虞舜時代論》、《梅庵琴派在海峽兩岸的流傳》、《鳥瞰二十世紀中國古琴音樂》、《旅日琴僧東臯心越傳略》、《海外發現〈龍吟館琴譜〉孤本》……等。

 

XIE Xiao-ping was born on July 18, 1920 in Haion of Taizhou, Jiangsu Province and passed away of illness in May 1998 in Beijing. When he was young, he studied international politic at Soochow University and graduated there. He then took his career in diplomatic circles of Nanjing. In 1940, he studied the qin under WU Jing-lue and joined the Jinyu Qin Musicians Association. Later on, he studied under the masters ZHANG Zi-qian, WU Zong-han, XIA Yi-feng, ZHA Fu-xi, XU Li-sun, etc. In 1950, he was transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Beijing. In 1979, he was appointed as research fellow of the Chinese Academy of Social Science. He wrote many articles about the qin history.

曾成偉:

  曾成偉先生,四川成都人,一九五八年出生於故鄉。其琴藝自幼得自家學,在其外祖父,蜀派古琴名家喻紹澤的親自教導下,勤學精研蜀派琴曲,盡得喻氏真傳,成為該派的重要傳人之一。曾成偉畢業於四川音樂學院,現為該院老師,古琴專業的副教授,曾氏琴風豪放穩健,樸實典雅,有著儒家文人琴藝的風範。除了演奏古琴,他的製琴藝術也受到琴界的廣泛讚許。

 

ZENG Cheng-wei was born in 1958 in his ancestral home Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Since his childhood, he learned the qin under his maternal grandfather YU Shao-ze of the Sichuan School. He was graduated from the Sichuan Conservatory and became a teacher of qin there. His playing had cultural standard, dignified and elegant.

黃雪輝:

  黃雪輝女士,廣東省汕頭市人。一八九八年出生於故鄉,一九七四年在杭州因病去世,享年七十五歲。黃女士一九二五年與徐元白先生結婚,並在徐元白先生的指導下學會了操縵之藝,演奏技巧淡雅清麗,富浙派特色,平時幫助徐元白輔導琴弟子學習琴藝,做了不少薪傳的工作。一九六五年又被浙江省文史館吸收為文史館館員,從事弘揚古琴藝術工作,作出了不少貢獻。

 

HUANG Xue-hui was born in 1898 in her ancestral home Shantou, Guangdong Province and passed away of illness in 1974 in Hangzhou, at the age of 75. She married with Mr. XU Yuan-bai in 1925 and mastered the art of playing qin under the coaching of Mr. XU Yuan-bai. She could play dozens of masterpieces and her performing style is unsophisticated and in delicate taste which characteristic of Zhejiang School. In her spare time she assisted Mr. XU Yuan-bai in teaching the students. In 1965, she was nominated as a member of Research Institude of Literature and History, Zhejiang Province. She contributed quite a lot to the glorifying of qin art.

姚公白:

  姚公白先生,一九四八年九月二十八日出生於故鄉浙江杭州,二OO八年中國文化部授予國家級非物質文化遺產項目古琴藝術代表性傳承人。姚先生先後畢業於雲南楚雄師範學院數學系、上海華東師範大學旅遊系,其琴學藝術得自家傳,在乃父姚丙炎先生的系統教授下成長,又受教於吳振平、張子謙先生,其琴風細膩精當,清新淡雅,數十年來操縵不輟,琴品如其人品,富有清心內養之功,漸入純淨自如之境。他以彈奏姚丙炎先生打譜之琴曲最具心得,又有自己的打譜成果,對於古琴古指法、琴曲演變、律學等亦深有研究,頗具心得。

 

YAO Gong-bai was born on September 28, 1948 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. In 2008, he has proclaimed as one of the representative successors of qin music of the Intangible Heritage of Humanity by Cultural Department of China. He studied the qin under his father. Later, he further studied under WU Zhen-ping and ZHANG Zi-qian. His performance is specialized in his father’s transcriptions. He also has his own transcriptions of qin music. Besides of performance, he also studies and researches on ancient fingerings, history and temperament of qin music.

梁銘越:

  梁銘越先生原籍河北省高陽縣,一九四一年十月十一日出生於河南省晃縣。一九四九年初隨其父梁在平移居台灣,操縵琴藝從學於胡瑩堂先生,為查阜西先生再傳弟子,一九六二年秋畢業於台灣國立藝術專科學校,師從王沛綸、簫而化等,主修小提琴,是第一屆畢業生。一九六四年赴美國深造,獲夏威夷大學學士、南加州大學民族音樂學碩士及博士榮銜,歷任馬里蘭大學教授及音樂系主任之職。梁博士的學術著作有《古琴的研究》、《中國音樂通論》、《姜白石度曲的研究》……等。

 

LIANG Ming-yue, David was born on October 11, 1941 in county Huang, Henan Province. His ancestral home was in Gaoyang, Hebei Province. In early 1949, he followed with his father to immigrat to Taiwan and learned the qin under HU Ying-tang. In 1962, David graduated from National Art Academy, Taiwan. Followed by musical studied abroad, he received his B.A. in composition from the University of Hawaii, and culminated his academic studies with the Ph.D. (with honors in ethnomusicology) from the University of California Los Angeles, where he also studied composition with Roy Harris, Henry Lazarof, and John Vincent. While at UCLA, he was twice a prize-winning composer in the Atwater Kent contemporary music composition.

呂培原:

  呂培原先生,籍貫江蘇省吳縣,一九三三年(農曆八月初二日)出生於崑山。早年在上海隨琵琶名家蕭韻閣及夏寶琛先生學習古曲,移居香港以後,又隨吳宗漢先生學習古琴,他除了擅奏琵琶及古琴外,更精通多種絲竹樂器。一九七三年,呂先生定居美國後,仍致力發揚中國音樂,先後於布朗、雷奧拿、伯克萊之美國東方藝術院及世界音樂中心等著名學府任教,又經常在紐約、波士頓、水牛城、芝加歌、侯斯頓、三藩市、伯克萊、溫哥華及多倫多等美加城市作巡迴演出。

 

LUI Pui-yuen was born in 1933 in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province. His ancestral home was in Wu County, Jiangsu Province. He was first trained in the ancient repertoire of pipa under XIAO Yun-ge and XIA Bao-chen in Shanghai. After resettling in Hong Kong, he studied the qin under WU Zong-han. He is known for his virtuosity not only in pipa and qin, but also in many other kinds of Chinese traditional instruments. In 1973, he settled in United States. Since then, he has been teaching in many music institutions there. He has also given highly acclaimed concerts in many cities in North America and Asia.

戴曉蓮:

  戴曉蓮女士,原籍浙江省吳興市人,一九六三年六月出生於上海。九歲時,隨外叔公張子謙先生學習操縵,又得吳景略、吳文光父子的教益,一九八一年考入上海音樂學院民族音樂系,隨龔一先生等老師修習古琴,一九八五年畢業留校工作,任圖書館資料室及該院古琴專業教師。一九九一年,應歐洲中國音樂研究基金會之邀,赴荷蘭萊頓大學漢學院,研究荷蘭漢學家高羅佩(Robert Hans van Gulik)及其古琴譜之收藏。戴曉蓮又曾發表過多篇學術論文,她現為中國琴會理事,上海今虞琴社理事,歐洲中國音樂研究基金會海外會員。 DAI Xiao-lian was born in June 1963 in Shanghai. Her ancestral home was in Wuxing, Zhejiang Province. When she was nine, she studied the qin under her uncle ZHANG Zi-qian and also WU Jing-lue and WU Wen-guang. In 1981, she was admitted to the Shanghai Conservatory and studied under GONG Yi. After she was graduated from the Conservatory, she was employed by the Conservatory as a staff. She has published many articles of qin music during these days.

謝俊仁:

  謝俊仁先生,一九四九年出生於香港,初期接觸歐西音樂,一九七O年代開始研習中樂,曾跟隨蔡雅絲習箏,又隨關聖佑習民族音樂理論創作。一九八O年代開始,先後從學操縵之藝於關聖佑、劉楚華及泛川派名家蔡德允女士。曾創作多闋古琴作品,並錄存於其個人專集中。 

 

TSE Chun-yan was born in 1949 in Hong Kong. He was first interested in European music. He began studying Chinese music in the ’70s, learning the zheng with CHOI Ngar-si and Chinese music composition with KWAN Sing-yau. In the ’80s, he started studying the qin under KWAN Sing-yau, LAU Chor-wah and TSAR Teh-yun of the Fan Chuan School. He has composed a number of new qin pieces and has them included in his CD Collections. He is a medical doctor by profession. After retired from medical job, he studied in the Music Department of the Ch+D8inese University of Hong Kong in 2005 and obtained his Ph.D. in Ethnomusicology in 2009. He is now the vice-chairman of the Deyin Qin Society, an adjunct assistant professor and instrumental instructor on the qin in the Music Department of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and an advisor of the Chinese Music Archive of the Department. He is also a part-time teacher of the master’s degree program of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.

查阜西:

  查先生名鎮湖,又字夷平,江西修水人。一八九五年十一月七日生於湖南永順縣,一九七六年八月十日卒於北京。幼年在家鄉學奏琴歌,及長,於一九三○年代初在上海組織「今虞琴社」,於新中國成立後又發起組織「北京古琴研究會」,並開展古琴音樂的學術探討,將史料輯撰和整理,又於一九五六年組織三人小組到全國二十多個地方採錄了六十多個古琴家的兩百多首古琴曲。其琴歌藝術始受教於湖南大庸琴家田曦明、龔嶧暉、俞味蒓,一九二○年代在上海及長沙與沈草農、顧梅羮、彭祉卿等琴友交,開始刻苦鑽研琴道,琴風深沉細膩、古樸典雅。其演奏《瀟湘水雲》一曲,在琴壇中贏得了「查瀟湘」的雅號。

ZHA Fu-xi

        ZHA Fu-xi was born on November 7, 1895 in Yongshun county, Hunan Province and passed away on August 10, 1976 in Beijing. His first name was Zhen-hu, alias Yi-ping, his ancestral home was in Xiushui, Jiangxi Province. He learned qin and song in his hometown since his childhood. In 1930, he formed the Jinyu Qin Musicians Association in shanghai. After establishing of the new China, he initiated to organize the Qin Research Association of Beijing for development of qin music. In 1956, he led other two followers to go through over 20 places in China for collecting qin materials and to record over 60 qin player’s performance in 200 hundred picecs of qin music. He learned the songs of qin in Hunan from TIAN Xi-ming, GONG Yi-hui, YU Wei-chun. In 1920’s, he studied qin performing together with his friends SHEN Cao-nong, GU Mei-geng and PENG Zhi-qing. His playing of the Mist and Clouds over Xiao-Xiang Rivers won him the fame of a nickname “ZHA Xiao-xiang”.

張子謙:

  張先生原名張益昌,江蘇揚州人。一八九九年八月二十九日出生於江蘇儀征,一九九一年一月十五日病逝於天津。七歲開始受業於廣陵派琴家孫紹陶,勤學不輟,琴藝日進;一九三○年代,移居上海浦東,因與修水查阜西、廬陵彭祉卿遊,被琴界稱為「浦東三傑」,並發起組織「今虞琴社」,又曾任社職。新中國成立後,任上海民族樂團獨奏演員,從事專業演奏,後兼任上海音樂學院教席;曾與查阜西、沈草農合編《古琴初階》一書,為琴學的入門指導性刊物。其演奏風格剛健遒勁,節奏自由,音色多變,擅奏廣陵派名曲《龍翔操》,因而琴壇上雅稱其為「張龍翔」。

 ZHANG Zi-qian

        ZHANG Zi-qian was born on August 29,1899 in Yizheng, Jiangsu Province and passed away on January 15, 1991 in Tianjin. His first name was Yi-chang and his ancestral home was Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province. When he was seven years old, he learned the qin from SUN Shao-tao of the Guangling school. In 1930’s, he migrated to Pudong of Shanghai and made friends in qin with ZHA Fu-xi and PENG Zhi-qing. They were then been called the “Three Outstanding Qin Performers of Pudong”. He initiated to organize the Jinyu Qin Musicians Association and took duty in the association. In 1950’s, he started his profession in the Shanghai Tradional Orchestra as the qin soloist. He also taught qin performance in the Shanghai Conservatory. His performing of Long Xiang Cao won him a fame of “ZHANG Longxiang”.

吳景略:

  吳先生名韜,別號縵叟,江蘇省常熟西塘人。一九○七年二月五日生於西塘,一九八七年八月十六日病逝於北京。少時從學民族樂器於趙劍侯、周少梅、吳夢非等;一九二七年從天津琴家王端樸習琴,勤奮上進,四方求教,博採眾家之長,自成一體,並於一九三六年四月參加「今虞琴社」,並司社職;新中國成立後,任教於中央音樂學院,專門從事古琴教學與研究工作。其對鑒琴、修琴有很豐富的經驗,並致力於古琴的改革,在保留民族的特色下,成功地研發出擴大音量的古琴,一九七○年代更成功地研製出鋼絲尼龍琴弦,成為古琴發展歷程上的新里程。其琴藝獨樹一幟,被稱為「虞山吳派」,其演奏的《漁樵問答》,更為琴壇稱道,並獲「吳漁樵」的雅號。

 

WU Jing-lue

        WU Jing-lue was bron on February 5, 1907 in Changshou county, Jiangsu province and passed away of illness on August 16, 1987 in Beijing. His first name was Tao and other name was Man-sou. He learned traditional instruments from ZHAO Jian-hou, ZHOU Shao-mei and WU Meng-fei. In 1927, he started to learn the qin from the Tianjin qin player WANG Duan-pu. Since then he had learned from many sources and developed his own style. In April 1936, he joined the Jinyu Qin Musicians Association founded in Suzhou. From 1939 to 1956, he was appointed as Chairman, running the association in Shanghai. In autumn 1956, he was appointed as Professor of the Central Conservatory, thus focusing his strength in the teaching and researching of the art of qin. He was experienced in assessing and repairing the qin instruments. He was enthusiastic in reforming the qin. After repeated experiments, the reformed qin was designed, which inherited the timber, performing techniques and outlook of the original qin while achieving larger volume and lower noise. In 1970’s, together with the instrument factory he successfully introduced the steel-nylon string which won the appreciation of most qin players, setting up a milestone in the development history of the qin. His performing of a Dialogue between a Fisherman and a Woodcutter won him a fame of “WU Yuqiao”.

楊新倫:

  楊先生初名楊琛倫,字克定,原籍廣東番禺。一八九八年十二月二十四日出生於上海,一九九○年二月一日逝世於廣州。幼年居滬上時,因在精武體育會聞琴家吳純白操縵,遂愛上琴道,先後師從王紹貞、盧家炳及中山鄭健侯,獲授《古岡遺譜》等嶺南派琴曲。新中國成立後,楊氏定居廣州,任廣東文史研究館研究員,從事嶺南琴學之研究;並兼任廣州音樂專科學校客座古琴教席,又在文史夜校及家居中扶掖後學。楊新倫因學得嶺南琴技,將剛健、爽朗、明快的琴風精髓灌注於演繹中,得鄭師真傳名曲《烏夜啼》,搏得琴界雅號「楊烏夜」之美稱。

 YANG Xin-lun

               YANG Xin-lun was born on December 24, 1898 in Shanghai and passed away on February 1, 1990 in Guangzhou. His first name was Chen-lun, also called Ke-ding and his ancestral home was Panyu, Guangdong province. When he was young, he lived in Shanghai, he was attracted by the performance of the qin solo by WU Chun-bai and began to love with the qin. Then he learned it from WANG Shao-zhen, LU Jia-bing and ZHENG Jian-hou on the qin scores of the Lingnan School. In 1950’s, he settled down in Guangzhou and employed by the Literature and History Research Institute of Guangdong on the research of the qin music of Lingnan. He was also a qin tutor of the Guangzhou Conservatory. In result of the study of Lingnan qin art and well received the techniques from ZHENG Jian-hou, he won a fame on playing the Midnight Crow as “YANG Wu-ye”.

徐立蓀:

  徐先生名卓,祖籍江蘇南通。一八九七年出生於南通,一九六九年與世長辭。一九一七年於南京國立高等師範學校時,師從山東諸城琴家王燕卿研習諸城派琴藝,又從海門琵琶名家沈肇州學習「瀛州古調」之琵琶曲。一九二九年與其同窗邵大蘇等於其校園的六朝松旁之梅庵創立「梅庵琴社」,一九三一年將其師王燕卿遺著《龍吟觀琴譜》殘稿,重加編述,刋為《梅庵琴譜》,一九三六年又將所學「瀛州古調」輯刊成《梅庵琵琶譜》。其琴藝在師承諸城派後,並發展成梅庵派,其創作琴曲包括《月上梧桐》及《公社之春》等。

 XU Li-sun

        XU Li-sun was born in 1897 in Nantong, Jiangsu province and passed away in 1969. When he was a student in Nanjing, he learned the qin from WANG Yan-qing of the Shandong Zhu Cheng School in 1917. And also learned the pipa from SHEN Zhao-zhou for the Ancient Tunes of Yingzhou. In 1929, he founded the Mei An Qin Society together with his schoolmate SHAO Da-su. And in 1931, he edited the Mei An Qin Scores according to the manscript of the Long Yin Guan Scores by his late qin teacher WANG Yan-qing. In 1936, he collected all the pipa scores learned from SHEN Zhao-zhou to form the Mei An Pipa Scores. Their studying place was called Mei An, which was by the side of the Six-Dynasty pine tree in their school, so they further extended the Zhu Cheng School to newly create a Mei An School in qin music. XU Li-sun has composed the Moon on Parasol Tree, Spring of the People’s Commune, etc. on qin music.

喻紹澤:

  喻先生名潤,祖籍四川成都。一九○三年出生於成都,一九八八年逝世。一九一八年喻紹澤與兄喻瑉一同隨蜀派古琴大師張孔山的三傳弟子,即其舅父廖文甫學習琴藝。新中國成立後,在四川音樂學院任教職,對蜀派琴曲的傳承有突出的貢獻,除教學外還事創作琴曲,所知者有《歡慶》、《耕歌》、《光明頌》、《春天》、《採茶歌》、《春光曲》、《除夕》、《思念》等。他所掌握的直宗於張孔山的技法尤被推崇,查阜西先生認為喻紹澤所彈《流水》,正是張孔山派,就中滾拂一段運指最為靈活,出音優柔,今時彈張派《流水》無出其右者。他特善《春山聽杜鵑》一操,曾獲琴界稱許為「喻杜鵑」。

YU Shao-ze

        YU Shao-ze was born in 1903 in Chengdu, Sichuan province and passed away in 1988. His first name was Run. In 1918, he learned the qin together with his brother YU Min from his uncle LIAO Wen-fu who was the second inherited successor of the qin master ZHANG Kong-shan of the Sichuan School. From 1950’s, he taught qin performance in Sichuan Conservatory. Besides of teaching, he also composed many qin pieces, such as Joyfully Celebrates, Plough Song, Praises of Bright, Spring, Song of Picking Tea, etc. Passed down by ZHANG Kong-shan, YU Shao-ze inherited the qin techniques of the Sichuan School and esteemed by most of the qin players. The qin master ZHA Fu-xi praised especially on YU Shao-ze’s performing on the Flowing Water passed down by ZHANG Kong-shan. His performing of the Listening of Cuckoo in the Spring Mountains won him a fame of “YU Du-juan”.

顧梅羹:

  顧先生名燾,號梅羹,別名琴禪,祖籍四川華陽。一八九九年十一月六日出生於湖南長沙,一九九○年八月二十二日病故於湖南長沙。顧梅羹的琴藝,自幼承家學,三代能琴,一九一一年始受於乃父及叔父,其祖父謂得青城張孔山親傳《流水》一曲,指法節奏的風格,繁複而純淨,查阜西先生謂,印象所及,和四川喻家大致相同,所說淵源於蜀,實可信也。一九五六年任中央音樂學院特約通訊研究員,並參加北京古琴研究會,協助查阜西完成《存見古琴曲譜輯覽》及《存見古琴指法譜字輯覽》等油印著述,一九五九年調任沈陽音樂學院教席,文革時回鄉長居,將畢生琴藝著成《琴學備要》傳世。

 GU Mei-geng

        GU Mei-geng was born on November 6, 1899 in Changsha, Hunan province and passed down of illness on August 22, 1990 in Changsha, Hunan province. His first name was Tao, alias Qin-chan and his ancestral home was in Huayang, Sichuan province. In three generations of inheritation, he learned the qin of the Sichuan School from his father and uncle. The score and fingering of the Flowing Water of the GU’s family was directly inherited from the master ZHANG Kong-shan. From 1956, he was appointed as a special correspondent researcher of the Central Conservatory. He was also a member of the Qin Research Association of Beijing and helped ZHA Fu-xi in the development of qin music. In 1959, he was transferred to Shenyang Conservatory as a tutor of qin music. At the Cultural Revolution, he returned to his hometown for retiring. Eventualy, he completed his final writing on the qin music and published a book named the Handbook of Qin Music.

丁承運:

  琴、箏演奏家丁承運原籍河南鄧州,一九四四年三月出生於河南開封。自幼得家訓,隨胞姊丁伯苓習琴、箏,後師事中州琴家陳仲巳、陳樹三、黃松濤,泌陽箏家王省吾等,及長又師從顧梅羹及張子謙習琴藝。一九六九年畢業於湖北藝術學院民族器樂系,一九七二年起任教於河南大學藝術學院,現為武漢音樂學院長江傳統音樂文化研究中心主任,中國音樂學院及台灣南華大學客座教授。丁氏對琴學、古樂器研製、中國樂律學、中州箏樂等研究致力,多次獲得國家及地方頒發的優秀成果獎項,其打譜發掘的琴曲《神人暢》、《白雪》、《六合遊》等,亦頗具成績,其著作有《中國造琴傳統抉微》、《清商三調音階調式考索》、《古瑟調弦與旋宮法鈎沉》等等數十篇章。

 DING Cheng-yun

        DING Cheng-yun was born in March 1944 in Kaifeng, Henan province. His ancestral home was in Dengzhou, Henan province. He started to learn the qin and zheng from his elder sister DING Bo-ling when he was young. Later, he learned the qin from CHEN Zhong-si, CHEN Shu-san, HUANG Song-tao and the zheng from WANG Sheng-wu. He further studied the qin from the masters GU Mei-geng and ZHANG Zi-qian. In 1969, he graduated from the Traditional Instrumental Music Department of Hubei Academy of Arts. In 1972, he taught in the Art Academy of Henan University. Presently, he is the director of the Research Centre for Traditional Music of Yangzi river, Wuhan Conservatory. He is also the visiting professor of the China Conservatory and the Taiwan Southern-China University. He is outstanding in research of qin music, remanufacturing of ancient musical instruments, Chinese musical theory and the art of zheng in Henan School. He has transcribed (dapu) many ancient qin musics for performance and has written many articles on his research in Chinese music.

李祥霆:

  李祥霆別名李泠秋,祖籍遼寧岫巖,滿族人,一九四○年四月出生於吉林省遼源市。一九五七年從古琴大師查阜西先生學琴,一九五八年考入中央音樂學院,師從大師吳景略先生,並深入研究,學習古琴大師管平湖先先的古琴藝術。一九六三年畢業留校教授古琴,四十多年來培育出中外古琴學生數百人。他經常在電台、電視台作古琴音樂的介紹,使琴樂藝術更能廣泛流傳。他對中國古琴藝術中有悠久歷史,而現已很少有人作此嘗試的「即興演奏」,尤特擅長。李氏現任中央音樂學院教授、中國琴會會長等職。

 LI Xiang-ting

        LI Xiang-ting was born in April 1940 in Liaoyuan, Jilin province. He was a Manchurian, also named LI Ling-qiu. His ancestral home was in Xiuyan, Liaoning province. In 1957, he started to learn the qin from the master ZHA Fu-xi. In 1958, he was admitted the Central Conservatory and studied under Professor WU Jing-lue. He then further studied the art of the master GUAN Ping-hu on qin music. In 1963, he graduated from the Central Conservatory and became a teacher there. Since that, he has trained hundreds of students. He always performs and introduces qin music in the radio broadcasting stations and television stations. He is well known in improvised performing of qin. He is now the professor of the Central Conservatory and the chairman of the Qin Society of China.

徐元白:

  徐先生浙江海門(今椒江市)人,一八九三年出生,一九五七年因患尿毒症逝世於杭州。自幼愛好文學、藝術、音樂,一九一六年拜杭州「照膽台」方丈浙派大琴家大休法師為師,勤學苦練,盡得「浙派」技藝,後走訪「諸城派」王賓魯、「山林派」李子昭、「九疑派」楊宗稷、「廣陵派」張益昌,後又與查阜西、吳韜等琴家往來,以藝為師,博採眾長,因而蘊釀出豐碩的琴藝「天機」,創造出獨特的風格,以弘揚琴心。他曾於南京組織「青溪琴社」,在開封創建「中州琴社」,在重慶組建「天風琴社」。徐先生以琴鳴世,仰慕其名登門求藝者遍及海內外,較有名望者有荷蘭駐華大使高羅佩,英國劍橋大學教授畢鏗,上海著名琴家姚丙炎等,馮玉祥將軍及畫家呂佛庭也曾跟他學過琴。其著作有《天風琴譜》一卷。

XU Yuan-bai

         XU Yuan-bai was born in Haimen, Zhejiang province in 1893 and passed away in suffering of uremia in Hangzhou in 1957. He loved literature, art and music since his childhood. In 1916, he went to Hangzhou to study the qin from a Buddhist priest called Da Xiu. His diligence let him mastered all the technique and arts of the Zhejiang School. In the following years, he furtherd his study from WANG Bin-lu, LI Zi-zhao, YANG Zong-ji and ZHANG Zi-qian. He also acquainted himself with or formed the relationship of teacher and student with CHA Fu-xi and WU Jing-lue, etc. In a purpose of glorifying the art of qin, he found the Clear Stream Qin Society in Nanjing, the Zhongzhou Qin Society in Kaifeng and the Sky Wind Qin Society in Chongqing, etc. His fame and name attracted numerous worshippers who were indiscriminately met with hospitality and patient expounding of qin art. As a result, his students are all over the world, the notable of which are Mr. R. H. van Gulik, Dutch ambassador to China, Mr. L. Picken, Professor of Cambridge University, England, YAO Bing-yan, famous qin master, and General FENG Yu-xiang, who spent time occasionally to follow his coaching. His art of qin is covered in his book called Qin Score of Sky Wing.

夏一峰:

  夏先生字福雲,江蘇淮安人,一八八三年出生於江蘇淮安,幼年父母俱亡,一九六三年卒於南京。少時得琴家楊子鏞收為弟子,刻苦好學,盡得楊氏琴藝。二十世紀二十年代遷居南京,參加「青溪琴社」,琴藝更為精進。新中國成立後,夏氏受聘為中央音樂學院民族音樂研究所特約研究員,並由楊蔭瀏為其將琴曲錄音及記譜整理出版,一九五四年與甘濤等發起成立「南京樂社」,並任社長,受其教益者計有梅曰強、鄧文權、劉正春、龔一、林友仁、李禹賢等。

 XIA Yi-feng

        XIA Yi-feng was born in Huai’an, Jianhsu province in 1883 and passed away in Nanjing in 1963. His first name was Fu-yun and his parents died since his childhood. He learned the qin from YANG Zi-yong. In 1920’s, he settled down in Nanjing and joined the Clear Stream Qin Society there. His skills in qin were more strives. In 1950’s, he was appointed as a special correspondent researcher of the Central Conservatory. All his performances of qin were recorded by YANG Yin-liu and transcribed for publishing in the Book of Qin Score. In 1954, he and his friends found the Nanjing Music Society. He was then the first Chairman of the society. His fellow students including MEI Yue-qiqng, DENG Wen-quan, LIU Zheng-chun, GONG Yi, LIN You-ren, LI Yu-xian, etc.

劉少椿:

  劉先生名紹,字少椿,號德一,一九○一年十月十六日生於陝西省富平縣北陵堡的一個鹽商家庭,一九七一年十一月二十日逝世於揚州。一九二八年劉少椿得到廣陵琴派名家孫檀生之子孫紹陶教授操縵之藝,在明師、嚴師的傳授下,勤奮刻苦地鑽研琴道,把廣陵派琴曲的自由跌宕掌握得非掌牢固,由於抗戰時期的艱苦,他將家中財物不顧,僅抱一琴逃難,固被稱為「琴癡」。一九五六年應查阜西之邀由揚州赴南京為全國琴人採訪活動錄製廣陵派琴曲八首,後經張正吟介紹,留在南京樂社為青少年傳授琴藝,一九五八年經甘濤推薦,在南京藝術學院音樂系教授古琴。

LIU Shao-chun

        LIU Shao-chun was born on October 16, 1901 in a salty family of Fuping, Shanxi province and passed away on November 20, 1971 in Yangzhou. His first name was Shao and also called De-yi. In 1928, he learned the qin from SUN Shao-tao of the Guang Ling School. He learned hard and acquainted all the techniques of the Guang Ling School. As a result of the Sino-Japanese War, he disregarded all the belongs and took only a qin with him during fleeing from homeland. This brought him a nick name called “the crazy man in qin”. In 1956, he was invited by ZHA Fu-xi to go to Nanjing for recording of his 8 pieces of Guang Ling School qin music. He then stayed in Nanjing. And in 1958, he was introduced by GAN Tao to became the teacher of the qin in Nanjing Institute of Arts.

程午嘉:

  程先生亦名程午加,江蘇省奉賢縣南橋鎮人。一九○二年二月十日生於江蘇奉賢,一九八五年十一月十五日於南京因胃疾手術,傷口發生感染,不幸逝世。自幼從父學習各種民族樂器,一九一七年七月經陳有荃介紹拜琵琶名家沈肇州學習《瀛州古調》,又拜王燕卿門下學習諸城派琴曲,二十世紀二十年代初為首批大同樂會成員,並從鄭覲文學古琴與仿古樂器及其製作,從汪昱庭學琵琶;一九三六年成為新成立的「今虞琴社」首批會員;新中國成立後為山東大學藝術系、華東藝術專科學校骨幹教師;一九五五年創改出「鼓琶」等新樂器;一九五八年起任教於南京藝術學院。著述包括《琵琶曲集》、《中國鑼鼓曲》、《月琴、秦琴、三弦》等,創作樂曲有《泰山觀日出》、《巴山夜雨》等。

CHENG Wu-jia

              CHENg Wu-jia was born on February 10, 1902 in Fengxian (now belong to Shanghai district), Jiangsu and he passed away at the age of 83 years old in Nanjing in 1985. He learned music from his father when he was young. In 1917, he started to learn the pipa from the famous teacher SHEN Zhao-zhou and the qin from WANG Yan-qing. In the early 1920’s, he joined the “Ta Tung National Music Research Institute” and studied music under ZHENG Jin-wen and WANG Yu-ting. In 1936, when Jin Yu Qin Society was established, he joined it as a member. He reformed and made new instruments such as gupa in 1955. In 1958, he was employed by the Nanjing Academy of Arts.

衛仲樂:

  衛先生本姓殷,過繼衛姓後更名衛秉濤、衛祟福,其後鄭覲文又替他改名衛仲樂,原籍江蘇無錫。一九○八年三月二十三日生於上海的一個碼頭工人家裏,一九九七年四月七日逝世於上海的病榻中。一九二八年因家貧,得鄭覲文免收會費,招為「大同樂會」會員,並拜在鄭覲文、汪昱庭、柳堯章等人門下,學習古琴、琵琶、小提琴等,又從其他樂家學習簫、笛、二胡等民族樂器,由於興趣、天賦及刻苦,加上良師的指導,成為首屈一指的學員。一九三八年隨中國文化劇團赴美國演出,頗獲盛譽;一九四一年創辦中國管弦樂隊及仲樂音樂館;新中國成立後隨「中國文化代表團」出訪印度、緬甸、印尼等國;除任教於上海音樂學院外,還受託籌建該院民樂系,初任副主任,一九五八年升為系主任,一九八五年改任名譽系主任。他畢生致力音樂教育事業,學生桃李滿天下。

WEI Chung-loh

               WEI Chung-loh was born in Shanghai on March 23, 1908 and passed away of illness on April 7, 1997 in Shanghai. In 1928, he joined the influential “Ta Tung National Music Research Institute”. There he learned many instruments including qin, pipa, erhu, jinghu, sanxian, xiao, bamboo flute and violin from famous players. His musicianship became so mature that he was appointed the Associate Music Director of the institute. In 1938, he was involved in many charity concerts in Hong Kong and in United States to raise money for Chinese refugees. The American critics called him “Kreisler on the pipa”. He also became “The first Chinese person to appear on American TV”. In 1939, he made 4 records before he left the States. In 1941, the member of “Ta Tung” became scattered, but this did not stop him from forming music societies, ensembles and teaching students. In 1949, the People’s Republic of China was established. Shanghai Conservatory employed him to teach Chinese music. In 1956, he became Associate Department Head of the Chinese Music Depart of Shanghai Conservatory. He became Department Head in 1958, and in 1985 he became Honorary Department Head.

蔡德允:

  蔡女史浙江吳興人,一九○五年出生於湖州雙林鎮,二○○七年六月十日於香港仙逝。少居上海,受傳統詩禮家風所薰沐,又得新文化的洗禮,二十世紀三十年代,師承蕭山琴家沈草農;寓港後,以文人藝術家之高尚品質,傳授琴道,悉力於傳統文化之存微繼絕。女史固能琴,兼善雅簫、崑曲,又常賦詩題字,徐文鏡許為「琴中之禪,詞中之仙,字中之米顛」;在古琴研究方面,專注於整理舊曲,又自行打譜,自六十年代以來,積極推廣古琴,培育新一代香港的泛川派琴人。其演奏耳聽聰敏,指腕柔韌,勁力依舊,動如脫兔,婉若遊龍,其演繹曲操輯著成《愔愔室琴譜》。

 TSAR Teh-yun

        TSAR Teh-yun was born in 1905 in Huzhou, Zhejiang province and passed away on June 10, 2007 in Hong Kong. Her ancestral home was in Wuxing, Zhejiang province and she grew up in Shanghai. She was born with exceptional talent, nutured in a family of traditional learning, and having received formal education in literature, calligraphy and music early on in her life. In 1930’s, she learned the qin from SHEN Cao-nong. In 1950’s, she moved to Hong Kong and settled down. For half a century, she has dedicated her life and love to poetry, calligraphy and music and has single-handedly trained several generations of qin students, imparting to them not only the art of qin, but also her individualistic philosophy of life. In addition to playing the qin, she also played the xiao and sang kunqu. XU Wen-jing once hailed her as “Zen of Qin, an Immortal of Poetry, and the Mi Dian of Calligraphy”, and wrote poems in her honor. From 1960’s, she devoted her time to teaching and trained several generations of students. Despite her age, she still plays the qin with her characteristic style: ”Quick as a rabbit in flight; Limber as a dragon in water”. Her collection of qin scores with handcopied notation has been published in the Yinyinshi Qinpu (Guqin Repertory from the Yinyin Study).

姚丙炎:

  姚先生原名濟良,一九二一年一月十日生於浙江杭州,在癌症病魔的苦纏下,終於一九八三年三月十八日,結束了他六十二年的短暫人生。自幼受庭訓薰陶,熱愛絲竹之樂,青年時代因聽二弟習彈汪建侯所授《陽關三疊》及《石上流泉》二曲,遂受啟蒙,自行摸索按彈,興趣益增。一九四七年姚丙炎以熱誠求學之態,拜浙派著名琴家徐元白先生門下,獲益之深,對他日後從事「打譜」工作奠定了堅實的基礎。一九五一年,姚丙炎舉家遷居上海,與滬上琴人相往還,並參加了今虞琴社的活動,應吳振平先生倡議整理出《琴曲鉤沉》系列。其琴學之重要著述還有《唐陳拙論古琴指法》及其一百二十五條注釋;《唐宋元五家指法釋注》;《琴曲統計》;《古琴指法》……等等,均在國內外有一定影響。

YAO Bing-yan

        YAO Bing-yan was born on January 10, 1921 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province and had finished his 62 years live by cancer on March 18, 1983 in Shanghai. His first name was Ji-liang. When he was young, he loved string and woodwind instruments deeply by the influences of his brother. In 1947, he learned the qin from XU Yuan-bai of the new Zhejiang School. In 1951, YAO Bing-yan and his family moved to Shangahi and settled down there. He then joined the Jinyu Qin Musicians Association and made friends overthere. Encouraged by WU Zhen-ping, he started his transcription of qin scores and ready for publishing. Besides, he has written many important writings on his researching in qin music.

梅曰強:

  梅先生字南移,祖籍江西湖口。一九二九年出生於江蘇南京,二○○三年八月二十九日病逝於南京。一九四三年拜在汪建侯門下習琴藝,一九五二年又拜南京琴家夏一峰、趙雲青、胥桐華、劉少椿等為師,精研廣陵琴藝,兼收各派之長而融匯於一身,主張音正韻和而不囿於流派。退休後遷居揚州,任揚州師範學校課外老師,又設琴館,以振興廣陵琴藝為旨。一九九一年中國藝術研究院音樂研究所為其錄製了二十八首琴曲,以作琴樂資料保存。

 MEI Yue-qiang

        MEI Yue-qiang was born in 1929 in Nanjing, Jiangsu province and passed away of illness on August 29, 2003 in Nanjing. His first name was Nan-yi and his ancestral home was in Hukow, Jiangxi province. In 1943, he started to learn the qin from WANG Jian-hou. Later on, he further studied it under the master XIA Yi-feng, ZHAO Yun-qing, XU Tong-hua and LIU Shao-chun in Nanjing. He received the skills from his teachers of various schools, but he aimed on Guang Ling School much more. After the retirement, he moved to Yangzhou and settled there. He was then teaching students on qin music overthere. In 1991, he was invited by the Music Institute of Chinese Academy of Arts to record down his 28 pieces of qin music recordings for preservation.

龔一:

  龔一先生一九四一年出生於江蘇省南京市,十五歲登台演奏古琴,獲查阜西先生好評,報譽為「小古琴家」。一九五七年考入上海音樂學院附中,開始接受學院式專業訓練至一九六六年大學本科畢業,期間又先後師從張正吟、夏一峰、劉少椿、王生香、趙雲青、張子謙、顧梅羹、劉景韶等十二位古琴家,涉獵五個琴派,廣泛地掌握了各派的風格及曲目。畢業後,致力以古琴介紹中國古代優秀的音樂文化,除演奏、教學外,還從事古代琴曲的發掘整理及新曲的創作,為古琴的普及做出了一定的成績。

GONG Yi

        GONG Yi was born in 1941 in Nanjing, Jiangsu. He made his debut at the age of 15 and was highly praised by CHA Fu-xi, a famous qin player, who called him “the little qin expert”. In 1957, he entered the Affiliated Middle School of Shanghai Conservatory. There he exclusively studied the qin for nine years and achieved a high standard of musicianship. In 1966, he graduated at the Shanghai Conservatory and studied under 12 teachers from 5 schools of qin music, including ZHANG Zheng-in, XIA Yi-feng, LIU Shao-chun, WANG Sheng-xiang, ZHAO Yun-qing, ZHANG Zhi-qian, GU Mei-geng and LIU Jing-shao. In that period GONG Yi studied the performing styles of the various schools and extended his repertoire. Over the years, he has been introducing the musical culture of ancient China. Apart from giving concerts and teaching, he is also deeply involved in the study, discovery, composition as well as transcription of qin music. His work serves to spread the knowledge of qin among the people.

成公亮:

  成公亮先生一九四零年出生於江蘇宜興,二零一五年七月八日病逝於南京。一九六零年畢業於上海音樂學院附中古琴專業,一九六五年畢業於該院本科民族音樂理論作曲系,嘗任教於南京藝術學院音樂系。早年學琴於梅庵派琴家劉景韶先生,後師從廣陵派著名琴家張子謙先生。四十多年來不斷尋師訪友,吸取精華,豐富自己,把人生的思索和對大自然的感受融匯於琴樂演奏之中,繼承了廣陵琴派三百多年的優秀傳統,善於變換指法和節奏跌宕不拘的風格,奏出真切而深邃的人情味和詩意般的琴曲,融人與琴為一體的意境。外報譽為「心靈漫遊的嚮導」。

CHENG Gong-liang

      CHENG Gong-liang was born in 1940 in Yizing, Jiangsu province and passed away of illness on July 8, 2015 in Nanjing. In 1960, he graduated from the Affiliated Secondary School of the Shanghai Conservatory, majoring in qin music. In 1965, he graduated from the Department of Traditional Music of the Shanghai Conservatory, majoring in composition. He is teaching in the Department of Music of the Nanjing Academy of Arts recently. In his early days, he studied the qin under LIU Jing-shao of the Mei’an school. Later, he continued his studies under ZHANG Zi-qian, a famous qin player of the Guangling school. In the past 40 years, he has visited other teachers and colleagues, learning from them to enrich his music culture. He always tries to put his outlook on life and perception of nature into his music. He is now regarded as a distinguished leader of the Guangling school and one of the best middle-aged qin players nowadays.

吳文光:

  吳文光原籍江蘇常熟西塘,一九四六年出生於故鄉。自幼師承父親吳景略,盡得「虞山吳派」之藝,一九六一年考入中央音樂學院,主修古琴,兼修琵琶,後該院改組,併入新成立的中國音樂學院,至畢業。吳文光自青年時期便以琴名,以表現自然之趣和擅長心理描寫為追求,從而形成了新時代的文人行吟風格,把古琴的表現技術和美學理論向前推了一步。他採用實證的方法,揭示傳統中國音樂(尤其是古琴音樂)的深層結構和微觀體系,他主張尊重古琴演奏者演奏的現時心理時值,並運用拍速變化的理論進行記譜,在理論上提供了某種解決琴界長期因記譜不能反映實際演奏狀況之困惑的方法。吳文光現為中國音樂學院的研究員。

 WU Wen-guang

     WU Wen-guang was born in 1946 in Changshu, Jiangsu province. Since his childhood, he learned the qin from his father WU Jing-lue and inherited all the techniques and culture of the Yu Shan Wu School. In 1961, he was admitted the Central Conservatory, majoring in qin music and also studied the pipa. Later the conservatory was reorganized and merged to the newly set up China Conservatory. In 1987, after graduated from the department of National Music of the China Conservatory, he studied Chinese music and the art of qin as a graduate student at the Research Institute of Chinese Arts under Professor YANG Yin-liu. After he had obtained his Master degree, he went to USA to further his studies and later received his Doctor degree in national music. He is now the department head of the Department of Musicology at the China Conservatory.

趙家珍:

古琴演奏家趙家珍,一九六二年出生,祖籍浙江。十四歲起,在上海隨龔一、張子謙習琴,一九八○年,考入北京中央音樂學院民族音樂系,師承吳景略,亦得益於吳文光,一九八二年,參加全國民族器樂獨奏觀摩演出,獲優秀表演獎,一九八四年畢業,留校任教,一九八五年,獲「北京市優秀文藝工作者」稱號。除教學外,趙氏亦為北京市青少年藝術發展促進會屬下「華夏室內樂團」成員,經常參加海內外演出活動。

ZHAO Jia-zhen ZHAO is a qin player, born in 1962. She learned qin from the famous masters Zhang Zi-qiang and Gong Yi since 14. In 1980, she entered the Central Conservatory and furthered her qin studies from Wu Jin-lue and Wu Wen-guang. In 1982, she won an award from competitions. She graduated in 1984 and became a teacher in the Central Conservatory. She won the fame of Outstanding Arts Workers in 1985. Besides teaching, she is presently a member of the Hua Xia Chamber Orchestra.

喬珊:

喬珊,古琴演奏家、琴歌藝術家、國際中國音樂家聯合會副主席、國際古琴學會會長。喬珊1985年畢業於中國音樂學院古琴專業,師從古琴大師管平湖嫡傳弟子王迪。
喬珊深得“管派”古琴精髓,其演奏風格既雄健瀟灑,又不失宛轉含蓄,充分繼承了管派古琴演奏中右手勁健清剛,出音沉厚的特點,而左手取音風格也較明顯,尤其是吟猱多用方直而少用圓柔,“綽”、“注”簡練,多取短而少取長,取音顯得古樸簡潔。代表曲目《離騷》、《流水》、《廣陵散》等。
在王迪先師的教導和影響下,喬珊總結了琴與歌相和相融的經驗,其琴歌演唱古韻雋永,委婉動人。代表作品有《胡笳十八拍》、《釵頭鳳》、《陽關三疊》、《關山月》等。
喬珊在琴歌藝術領域不斷探索,除了繼承傳統琴歌“自彈自唱”的形式之外,還與作曲家共同創作琴歌新作品,並將古琴與民族管弦樂隊、交響樂團、西洋樂器等創新合作,進行大型舞台演出。其中,古琴與民族管弦樂團交響詩《琴詠春秋》曾先後受邀在維也納金色大廳、澳大利亞悉尼歌劇院成功演出。
近三十年來,喬珊一直致力於在海內外推廣古琴藝術,加強國際文化交流,陸續與中國交響樂團、香港中樂團,新加坡華樂團、台灣高雄國樂團、澳門中樂團、天津民族樂團等合作演出。曾出訪二十多個國家,成功地舉辦古琴獨奏與協奏音樂會。
