Data sorting

The information provided for each piece of music in the AV Archive includes Chinese song title, English song title, main performer, music demonstration form, other related information and song coding/numbering. Each column of data when click on their title, and the data will be sorted forward or backward according to the content under the title, which is convenient for users to serch music data.

Each independent database has an independent search function. Users can enter single or multiple words, and the search results will be displayed immediately.

Users can choose the number of songs that can be read per page (10, 12, 25, 50 or 100)

Related information includes

  1. Composer – Composer (if any)
  2. Arrangement - Arrangement or arrangement of music scores, etc. (if any), may include arrangers, arranging and transplanting, notation, performance notation, and (notation, ordering, notation, arrangement) and other personnel (arranged in order).
  3. Source - The origination of the song
  4. Ensemble – Music participant/group information (if any), may include conductor, ensemble, accompaniment, concerto (in order).

Song Coding

Each song has an independent song code, and each code has its own unique meaning. If you can understand it, it can also be used as a useful tool for finding songs.

Coding : The first digit represents audio or video A-audio, V-video

             The second and third are the classification of various instruments or ensembles,

                   20 – Pipa

                   30 – Guzheng.

                   40 – Erhu

                   50 – Dizi

                   60 – Other plucked music – 6R -Ruan, 6L-Liuqin, 6Y-Yangqin, 6S 三弦, 6M-Pluck(misc)

                   70 – Other Bow Music – 7G-Gaohu, 7B-Banhu, 7J-Jinghu, 7Z-Zhonghu, 7Y-Yehu, 7M-Bow(Misc)

                   80 – Other Wind Music – 8X-Xiao, 8H-Sheng, 8S-Suona, 8G-Guanzi, 8P-Paixiao, 8MWindMisc

                   90 – 打擊樂

                   A0. 合奏 – A1大合奏, A2小合奏, A3廣東音樂, A4江南絲竹, AN新世紀, AM其他

                 The Fourth digit reserved for future use

                 The fifth digit is the number of characters to express the Chinese name of the piece - 1 to 8 are the exact number of characters in the piece, and 9 is the name of the piece with 9 or more characters;

                 In addition, A is a special classification music piece, for example, a piece of music, a song, or accompaniment music with only a foreign language title.
